I just got back from vacation and am once again selling the last of my sealed copies of Super 3D Noah's Ark for SNES.
If you aren't familiar with the crazy background of this very unique game(Unofficial lock-on SNES Wolfenstein 3D to non-violent Christian conversion), there's a lot of info about it online.
I'm selling them for $30 shipped to the USA or $35 shipped within Canada. I'll also trade for Turbografx/PC Engine or SMS/Mark III stuff.
These are PayPal or U.S. cash prices. I'll accept International Postal Money Orders(orange at the USPS) for an additional $5.

Because Canada Post is literally a world class rip-off.
They've been jacking prices while deteriorating service on a yearly basis for a long time now.
At first they were whining about how the internet had destroyed the postal service, because no one sent letters anymore because of e-mail and how they couldn't afford to keep things running.
Of course we all know that that's total B.S. and thanks to the internet, there is more mail being sent now than ever before.
It used to be that every few years(maybe more) or so, the price of mailing a letter would go up a penny. Its now twice the price of what it cost like 5 - 7 years ago.
And packages are even worse. Not only is it cheaper to send to the U.S. from Canada, but its usually faster too.
I've also been ordering a lot more from Japan where airmail is not only cheaper than from Canada and is equal to or less than from/to the U.S., but I've been receiving packages in as little as 2 - 3 business days(EMS is usually 1 - 1.5 weeks).
But unfortunately, like many other things in Canada right now, there's not much we can do about it. The average Canadian is more concerned about the freshness of their Tim Hortin's doughnuts than how we're getting worked over left and right by our own government.

I've been pretty lucky. I've only had one package that I sent that got lost.
However, the guy I sold it to was unrealistic in his demands even though I kept him totally informed and applied for an insurance claim the first day that I could. I nearly got banned from PayPal and eBay, even though I had proff that I sent it. PayPal debited my account to give buddyface a refund and I had to fill in the negative balance before I could send and receive funds again.
The happy ending is, within a week of PayPal finding in this guys favor, I got a check from Canadapost(without any notice or questions) in the mail that covered about 3/4 of the guy's refund.
So although it took forever until CP would even let me apply for a refund, at least they were pretty speedy in issuing me a check.
The bad part of their minimum time period to file a claim is that its just about as long as PayPal & eBay's cut off to file a greivence so buyers have no choice but to file a dispute.
The other thing I love about Canadapost, is the free reign carriers have with their routes. Although I have a steady stream of mail coming in and we're bombarded with flyers/junk mail, we mysteriously never receive any mail on Fridays or on the days surrounding the unions extended long weekends. So if Sunday's a holiday, we never receive mail from Friday through Tuesday. :)
