I'm in total shock (no pun intended).
Every other site swears up and down that Gears of War was the big hit of the show. And personally, I'm looking more forward to Gears than any other 360 game, this year.
Now IGN drops this one on us???
Thoughts?

Gamespot gave it Game of Show.

I'm much more interested in BioShock. 'Gears' seems very pretty...very polished...but meh to me.
Cheers,

My inital reaction was, "What the hell?"

Bioshock really just came out of nowhere. I know almost nothing about it.

This makes me really excited. I'm a huge System Shock fanboy, and I've been following it for a while. Seeing it so well-received gives me a good feeling about it.
This and Stranglehold are going to force me to buy a 360 by fall.

Well I read about it in the latest EGM so I knew about it, but I didn't hear much about it at e3. Seems intresting.

what is wrong with you people @_@ I am looking forward to Chrome Hounds more than any of that other rehash fps crap. I can't forget Tenchu 360 but it was a no show at e3

Great news. If you've seen some of the screenshots, you'd also understand. The game looks incredible - chunky polygons in places, but the environments are awesome.
Glad to know that blood graffiti is back in style, too ("Gene Traitor," like "Remember Citadel")!

This is one of those times when you should try not saying anything.

I have the Game Informer issue when they did a full article on BioShock a few months back. I was impressed with what I saw.
I just found it odd, because there was little talk of this game before E3, and even during... Then - BOOM!
2 big websites give this game it's overall pick.
I'm quite interested in this game, now. Seeing as how I've never played any of its predeccesors.
I still want GoW, a little more, though.
I'll take anything, thanks! LOL
Wallets are going to be kept empty this year by the looks of things at E3. I'm interested in Dead Rising, Test Drive, Lost Planet and Moto GP 6. I was looking forward to Chromehounds but the way the game is being described it looks too hardcore, and not as pick up and play as Mech Assault was. I'll have to give it a test spin before purchase.
