I don't know if this counts, but Thousands Arms had an offer via Altus. Anyways, when you bought the game, there was a particular card inclosed in the instruction booklet, if I remember correctly. If you filled it out, send cash for shipping and handling, Atlus would send you a soundtrack/multimedia disc. Kinda nice.

Also, I believe when Evolution 2 came out for Dreamcast, you could send in a card and get a soundtrack samplier from Grandia 2 or something......

I have a few CD-i titles that have game and music discs. The one that comes to mind is Burn:Cycle, but I know there are more. Although, I've never played them so maybe you need the music disk for game content, but I highly doubt it.

However the CD that comes with it doesn't have the game's soundtrack and or anything even related to the game, it's a Sampler CD by American with about 10 different songs by about 10 different bands on it... Danzig, Love & Rockets, 1000ft Jesus... they come to mind right away...

Some basketball game for PS2 "something 2003 I believe"

has a music cd with it. Whenever we get a used game in that has music cd I usually snag it if I dont have it "didnt want basketball one. But I got got lunar 1 &2 cds and Final fantasy one.

I dunno is the chick who sings the songs for Lunar hot? Cuz she sounds hot.

Shaq-Fu for the Sega Genesis has a CD packaged with it.

If you bought PS1 Metal of Honor at Best Buy you would have received an audio cd as well.

Seriously though...Eolution 2 let you send away for the Grandia 2 soundtrack, and it came in a separate little cardboard slipcase...I did it. Then when I BOUGHT Grandia 2, it came pack in with the SAME DAMNED SOUNDTRACK! DOH! At least I have a hard to find little slipcase.....

Also, when I bought Zelda: OOT at K-Mart, they gave me a Zelda music CD with it. I don't think that it was pack-in everywhere though, and it was only for release..not a standard pack-in.

And Thousand Arms did have a mail-in CD offer...I did it :)

That's all I can think of. I will mention that if you're into game music, ALL PC Engine and TG16 CDs are playable in normal CD players...the music tracks are normal CD tracks...I've made a few mix CDs from em...... :)

I got a "Soundtrack CD" for StarFox 64 when I preordered it. Doesn't really come with the game otherwise but there you have it.

(And now that I think of it, I have no idea what happened to it.... crap)

Metal Gear Solid had a bonus preorder CD, as did Legend of Mana and Chrono Cross.

And though it's off the subject, a lot of Japanese titles have bonus soundtracks. Burning Rangers and the DC version of Guilty Gear X came with mini-CDs. Heck, almost any Japanese game with a "box set" includes a music disc.

Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga with the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion pack for PC came with a soundtrack CD. One of my favorite holiday gifts from a couple of years ago. :)

I have the Amped soundtrack,but I know that didn't come with the game.
