Anyone know where I can find, or if anyone has, a wav file of the "!" sound from MGS? The sound when the exclamation point appears after you're spotted by a guard. My friends and I want it for a skit idea.

If anyone could get the "Metal Gear?!" sound clip I'd be most grateful too.

Get PSound. It's a rather nifty PSX sound extraction program, with plugins for several PSX games.

Unfortunately the site which had it seems to have died, but you can probably find it somewhere else.

Or you could always just play the game on the actual hardware and record the sound via a microphone. The ! sound is super common and the "Metal Gear?!" line is like an hour into the game.

Yup that's it, now how do I download it from there? What sound in the MGS pc demo directory is that sound?

Oh bugger I have no idea. Want me to email it to you? I couldn't find it in the directory so I just used Audacity to record about 30 seconds of sound (as you can Alt-tab out of the game) then edit the recording down to the bit you wanted.
