Recently I've been scouring the Net for some official info on the Golden Axe series, and I'm still looking. XD I'm working on a GA-dedicated site called Eagle Island (check out the progress, if you want, at www.freewebs.com/eagle_island).
I've come up with quite a bit of info so far, but I'm still missing quite a bit. I'm especially looking for release dates, character info (mostly the enemies), and articles.
If anyone has anything to share, the info would be greatly appreciated, and you will be credited in my site's Wall of Fame.
Just an interesting note I realized a few days ago: At E3, Sega announced their new remake of GA on May 10. The 15th anniversary of Golden Axe II For Genesis (in the US) is May 10, 1991. Coincidence, or on purpose? The world may never know... XD

A couple of things -
There is already a pretty comprenhensive GA website out there, Death Adder's Castle:
http://www.classicgaming.com/goldenaxe/
Also, the links to pages with nothing on them are incredibly annoying, and the red-on-black text is hard to read.
Unabashed plug (http://www.sega-16.com/History%20of-%20Golden%20Axe.htm)!
:D
Contrary to what Sega-16.com says, the PS2 version was done by SIMS. Minor nitpick.

I've known about the Wikipedia article and ClasscGaming for a good while actually. But thanks for the suggestions!

Game Stats (http://www.gamestats.com/objects/568/568975/), IGN (http://ps2.ign.com/objects/568/568975.html), and even the game's page at Sega's Ages site (http://sega.jp/ps2/ages05/) (lower left corner) say it's 3D Ages.

SIMS' website (http://www.sims.co.jp/outline.html) says otherwise.
I can confirm they did Out Run since I've seen the credits.

Hmm, I don't know. Why would everyone else, even Sega, have the developer data wrong?
Anyone beat Golden Axe and seen the credits?
