I was digging through my CDs and came across this little gem from 1992.

This, actually, was the first CD I ever bought. Pretty geeky huh?

Features the following tracks:

King's Quest V
1) King's Quest V Theme
2) Graham's Theme
3) Cassima's Theme
4) The Bandits
5) The Dark Forest
6) Crispin's Theme
7) Closing Sequence

Codename: Iceman
8) Whitney
9) Love Theme/Morning
10) FunkQ

Police Quest II
11) Police Quest II Theme

Conquests of Camelot
12) Camelot Credits
13) Opening Sequence
14) Glastonbury Tor The Mad Monk

Quest for Glory I
15) Quest For Glory Theme
16) Battle Theme
17) The Magic Meadow (absolutely beautiful theme)

Conquests of the Longbow
18) Opening Sequence
19) The Map/The Hedge Maze/The Abbey/The Fens

King's Quest VI
20) Girl In the Tower

And yeah, that's the one with lyrics... yes, that one. And, yes, I called my local radio station to ask them to play it back in the day. Yes, I am ashamed of that.

Is this thing hard to come by? Imagine it is, I bought mine through the Sierra catalog, I don't think I ever saw it in a store. My copy doesn't even have a barcode on the back. I didn't see any on eBay either checking past auctions.

Anyway, seeing as how I'm in the adventure game mood, I figured I'd share this little piece of Sierra history.

"Girl in the TOW-ER
You some-thing...
Please TELL me what you know..."

Wow, I had totally forgotten that song even existed until this post. (But as you can see from my botched lyrics, I only barely remember it now.)

I'd also love to hear this CD. Not for that song really, but for the KQ stuff.

But no Space Quest or KQIV music? Darn shame.

Nice.

For anyone looking for some of those tracks, I advise visiting Quest Studios. (http://www.queststudios.com/quest/Sierra1.html#mainmenu)

Nifty little site. My only problem is that so many of these official soundtrack CDs that were released contain songs that are played in their original content and put on the CDs. I personally would prefer by far to hear them orchestrated and with live sounds instead of computer generated beeps and tones.

Sierra fans are like rabid weasels.

Considering how well kept that disc is, I'm sure you could probably net close to $50, if not more.
