There's one going on right now. Just thought some of you import hounds might like to know. Radiant Silvergun marked down from $189 to $179! OK, there are some better deals than that...

Matt (wolfgames) is certainly an honest seller, but his policies piss me off.

I used to order loads of PC Engine stuff off him, but he's NEVER give me any sort of volume or great customer discount... not one red cent.

"All Prices Are Firm. I take into account my cost, so I'm not making a lot of profit."

Then the next week after I get my stuff (admittedly in good condition) he'd have a SALE where everything would be $5 and $10 off per title.

I know, I know, I didn't have to order in the first place if I didn't like his prices and policies, but saying all prices are final and pleading profits and THEN having a sale a week later just ain't right.

It cost his a customer, anyway. I won't be ordering from him again.

:hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

His prices are a bit high, but he DOES have the inventory and he's VERY reliable. I had him get me a copy of Sylphia for PC Engine once...cost me $80 but it came in MINT condition..pristine. Was well worth it.

As for the no discount thing...it's a fair enough deal....you don't beg for discounts from Wal-Mart or EB either......

Like I said... he's honest and his stuff is in good condition.

As for the Wal-Mart comparison, if you buy something at Wal-Mart one week and it goes on sale the next, they'll refund the differance.

Besides, this ain't Wal-Mart... this is a guy selling games to collectors. If he expects to get repeat business, it's a good idea to offer some sort of discount for people who order in bulk and pay thousands of dollars. If you're not going to offer a discount, I don't think it's a good business practice to say that your prices are set in stone and that your profit is limited and THEN have a dandy old sale the week after you've made a grand off somebody.

I'm not saying he's wrong... he can charge what he wants and have a sale the next week if he wants.

All I'm saying is that I wouldn't follow his business practices and that he's lost a valuable customer because of them. "Prices are firm and my profit is built-in" coupled with a next-week SALE! just do not compute.

Again, he's a very honest and reliable seller with good merchandise. If you're looking for some obscure import, I'd certainly give him a try. Just know up front what his business practices are.
