how about a top lists forum? I know most are in the timeless classics forum, but its own board could be cool. I think timeless classics should include anything but top lists. I just feel top lists should have their own board, so those genuinely into that type of stuff will have their own place on the board, while those who don't care, don't have to wade through the top lists in classic gaming or timeless classics.

just a thought. I don't mind top lists, but when I start seeing them come out of the wood work (sp?) it's a bit excessive, quite frankly.

Ummmm...there are 100 good let alone great NES games? That's news to me.

Anyway, I have a plan which I think is pretty awesome. I hope everybody doesn't hate it. Instead of everyone posting all these top 20 lists and then debating/arguing endlessly, why not actually tally the games and make a master list? I propose someone (maybe me) posts a thread asking everyone for their top 20 game list for a given system. It should probably be made sticky for a week. After a week, when the thread should be chock-full of opinions, then a tally is done and a master list of the overall DP top 20 is made. Then it can be posted, and maybe made maybe sticky for a week. THEN we can debate and argue endlessly but at least we will know what the consensus is. Too much work or cool idea, you tell me?
