You know, for a homebrew, this is one of the better ones I've seen.

Although it's very nice to see it released after this wait and its very complete shape (in the sense of box, manual etc.) ,the inlay art just isn't good enough and could've been MUCH better. It's a bit of a shame, really.
Still, like said, nice to see it released.

Yes, this art does not live up to the standards of the nearly Michaelangelo-esque composition found in Sega games of their time.

When is everyone going to STFU about the art and enjoy the game? I think everyone gets it, there are a group of people here who don't like the art. The horse that you're beating has been completely mutilated and now I think you're just sick.

Damnit. I just got mine, and had hoped to be the first to post pictures. While the manual and packaging is inarguably of poor quaility compared to most Genesis releases it is very good for being an ameture release. When I compare it to some of the homebrew stuff put out for the dreamcast it is a lot better.
The manual is full color with screen caps and drawings which is more then what I expected. I am overall very pleased with the packaging and appereance considering where it came from. I can't wait to go play the game, right now.

Sorry but in a thread showing off the packaging you're bound to get people discussing said packaging.

The review in Hardcore Gamer or whatever really made the game sound too simple for my tastes :( Also, I've never really cared for the graphical style of the game, but hey...it's cool that someone devoted so much time and effort to properly localizing it.

I think the font for the title and everything is pretty fitting and i dig the layout, but yea...that artwork is pretty damn bad. It's not even nostalgic bad, it's just crummy fan-art bad. It's what you'd expect to see drawn on an envelope and printed in the corner of the letters page of a game magazine.
But credit where it's due, the title (font/placement/color) looks great. Except for on the cart... :(

received mine tonight! while taking a break from doing some weeding, i played it for about an hour. game looks great, and plays great. LOVE the music (so far).
i will have to play this more over the holiday weekend.
glad i bought it. thanks to all who were involved!!
