I bought a MD game today and was wondering if I could get some info on it. I'll attempt to explain it in detail since I'm not sure of how the name is translated. Anyway, there is a girl on the front sticker of the cartridge in her school uniform looking toward you. At the bottom left it says TELNET JAPAN 1991 and on the bottom right it says The Legend of a Fanstasm Soldier. When playing, you are a little school girl with a sword which you can get upgrades for. First level is a city and the second is some kind of ice mountain.

Thanks for any help!!

That game would be Valis. It was released in English too, and isn't a bad game, but it isn't great either.

No, Valis II never had a release on the Genesis or Mega Drive - period. Valis I, III, and SD were all released both in Japan (Mega Drive) and in the US (Genesis). SD Valis was released on the Genesis as "Syd of Valis."

Mugen Senshi Valis is still a decent game, the TurboDuo / PCEngine CD versions are the overrated ones since the cutscenes are far grander than the actual gameplay. It's not a bad game at all.

I have this game as well.

It's ok, but the girl in the game moves too slow.

In SD Valis she sometimes moves too fast. LOL

There decent games to play and are not to hard to find. The graphics are the typical big head on little body your used to seeing from Japan. For some reason, the Valis games never caught on here even though they kept bringing them over.
