This looks really fishy. He knows Stadium Events is ultra rare. He added a TON of listing upgrades (border, bold, etc) that you normally wouldn't use for a lot of six common games. He's also a new user. Something is up.

It could be many reasons why he doesnt allow local pickup. Ive seen many serious sellers that dont allow it. But since hes new it might seem fishy, i agree to that.

Yes they did.

Only for Subtitle and Listing Designer (the ebay-designed border of the actual item description), however. All of the stuff he added was full price.

as stated above, it's the pal version. I saw this auction earlier and asked the guy if it was pal or ntsc.. replied with something along the lines of "golly gee, how do I tell"..

FYI for anyone out there. if you ever see a stadium events with a white (new style) seal of approval, it's pal. they didn't start using that new style seal until march 89 and stadium events was only released for a couple months in 1987.

I have a theory that it will drop once people figure out what the hell they are bidding on. I guess we both shall see.

I think the reason why the price of the PAL version has gone up so much is because lately there have been so many listed on ebay.com. Use to be they were only on the foreign ebays. Nowaday, we can find them on ebay.com and people are trying to pass them off as NTSC. I can gaurantee you that there are people out there buying this stuff up and have no clue what PAL even is and think they are just getting a copy of all NTSC stuff. My two cents anyways.

They see one go for 700+ and then a lot with SE events in it pops up with bidding in the 100-200 range. Lights and bells go off as the wheels start turning. They are king of the noobs till they figure out what they did and then they pass it off to another. Little bit of a fad going on with NES stuff right now. I think there are 2 possible outcomes for these new collectors. 1 they give it up and pick up a new fad. 2 they stick with it and become educated collectors. You will have some of each but either way interst in the PAL SE drops.
