Yes, there is a solution for your problem. However, it poses new problems. Look online for antiglare screens for the gba. Might find them on Ebay or Lik-Sang.
I have had them in the past and, they dont work all that well. They do work but the results are mixed at best. YOu will still get glare spots from direct sunlight but, they wont be as bad (more diffused) and, they do effect visibility some because the anti-glare is just another plastic screen added on top of the first one.
To be honest even after I modded my gba with the afterburner kit I still had to play the gba in the shade for the best results. Thats okay though, I like it in the shade.

i wonder what would happen if you wet sanded it with 2500 grit sandpaper.

.. I don't. :hmm:

Does the screen come off? You could take it off and take it to a local optometrist. Maybe they could have it coated with an anti-reflective coating. I know that stuff works great on my plastic lenses.

Yeah, I know someone who thought the same thing (name withheld in respect). Now playing their GBA is like trying to see the screen through a glass of milk. Just say no to sandpaper friends. :)

Time to upgrade to a SP with the screen upgrade. Makes a TON difference.
