welp today i figured it was time to maybe work on changing the connections to my tv to get a better picture. i turned around my tv to unhook my spiderweb of cords to find out that my tv not only has s video input but RGB! @_@

now i know i can get a switch box from my job with rgb connections to it for cheap but i need a good solution for cheap chords for the DC and saturn (i can find the rest at my job).

So anthony1, i know this is your expertise, tell me what you know to get the pretty color show off the ground

i so want to get this off the ground since its a nice big old 27" screen hehehe

You can find RGB cables online, but they probably will not work correctly. You need to find someone who can make them; the person I bought them from 'retired', which I believe is the same person Anthony1 got them from.

What is the model of your set? I would like to see if ebay has any of them...I could use another...

I could use a couple switchboxes too. I think those are as tough to find as the monitors..

There are a large number of displays out there that have various inputs labled "rgb" but that doesn't mean that it's analog RGB, or that the monitor can sync to 15 kHz rgb either.

It's very possible that your monitor or TV doesn't sync to 15 kHz. In fact, it's more likely that it doesn't but you could do some google searches on Ebay and see if you can find any kind of specifications breakdown for that TV. Basically you want to see if it can sync with a 15 kHz signal.

Umm, correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't EVERY NTSC television 15 KHz?

Hmmm...googled your set. Could not find an RGB connection on it unless your referring to the ColorStream component connectors (Red, Green, and Blue).

You could probably get your newer systems hooked up through these connectors (Dreamcast to X360), but the older ones would probably require nore effort. Maybe the XRGB2+ device.

the tv i found uses colorstream. its still very awesome to look at. right now just my ps2 is hooked up with it. the 2d games are so crisp and vivid, the chords were very worth it.
