Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft in console gaming
Where are the 3DOs, WonderSwans and Jaguars of 2006/7 etc...?
And isn't it time for a different kind of home computer ?(since Mac's gone Intel too now)
We need some kind of new stuff, different, experimental, exciting.

I'm sorry but are you actually asking for people to intentionally design Vapourware?
While that is an insane request i do suggest you get in touch with Tiger Telematics and Infinium. maybe you can creat the Gizntom.

Hey, Vapourware is fun. If companies are willing to throw wads of cash down the toilet for my entertainment, by all means. Ah, the Indrema, my favorite console I never played. It was just so shiiinnnyy.

Back when cars first appeared there were tons of Companies-- many experimenting with exotic technologies like Batteries and steam-engines.
But eventually the market narrowed.
The same has happened in the computer world too. From experimental to appliance = narrowing of companies.

SwanCrystal was in production until 2003 or 2004, they stopped making them because nobody was buying them. It's why they are easy to find NIB.
By and large, companies make what sells. Not everybody can take a mutilmillion hit to get into the gaming market like Microsoft did with the XBOX. Game soft is easier, cheaper to produce. Outsiders who try to innovate -- Ngage, Gizmondo -- nobody seems to buy them, the mainstream consumer goes with what's known and available.

Wow it looks like a Web TV, only very shiny and thin. After reading that website, I feel like I know even less about the thing than I did before.
