I could have picked up "The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse" for the Sega Genesis. I can't ust the database cause it's friggin down again, can't find it on e-bay for the genny at all. Isn't this worth money? All I can find listings for is the SNES. Let me know!

Thankx

I can't give you an exact rarity ranking, but I know it's pretty common. Whenever I see it around here it's usually priced at $5-$8 or so. Hope that helps a bit!

Thank you. I thought this was worth money but I guess not.
Could have sworn I saw it on a rare list? Weird there isn't a copy on the bay though?

You must have a rare prototype then, because I have never heard of a genesis title by that name.

Check the cart again is it one of the following:

Mickey mania
castle or world of illusion
The great circus mystery
Fantasia
MIckeys ultimate challenge

Indeed. If you haven't heard of it, then it must be rare.

It could be "The Great Circus Mystery" as those games looked somewhat similar and both allow you to switch into different suits.

Could you show us some information about this title? I can't find anything for it, I doubt it exists.

Did you get your post count up by making funny little quips like that?

You could of tried posting something useful to the OP instead of trying to take shots at a new poster.

Anyway, back on topic. I looked up a screenshot of the snes game and it appears to be the same as the great circus mystery.

It appears it may have released on Genesis, but it just might not be as common as the one on SNES. I just can't find any pictures, or boxard to back that up. I would love to play the Genesis version tho, since it was one of my favoriate games for SNES as a child. I've been meaning to get it off of E-bay one of these days.

Calm down cowboy, it's only the internet, it's not like he was saying anything that wasn't true anyway.

Well to tell the truth I didn't actually buy it YET! It's at this junk shop 3 towns over. This old guy has boxes and boxes of video games. They have dust all over everything. But he want's 5 bucks a piece for everything. All I had money for was a couple xonox double enders and I looked through everything trying to take a mental note of what he had I was sure it said the Magical Quest with Mickey, because I didn't think it was released for the genny. Well anyway it was prob. one of the other ones. But I didn't sleep most of the night because of it, hope he's open today I will let everyone know. Hope I'm wrong and it actually is The magical Quest.
Thanx

Going after a complete Genesis collection and am only missing about 40 titles, I have to confer that I do not think it was released. As mentioned above, six Mickey Games were made that I have double checked with the DP guide, amazon.com, and half.com and my own collection. You might want to double check what you saw, as this is what I have researched. Anyone else confer this as well? Games double checked:

Fantasia
Castle of Illusion
World of Illusion
Micky Mania
Mickey's Ultimate Chanllenge
Great Circus Mystery

I wouldn't trust Amazon.com's release list if I were you. It's somewhat inaccurate - I was looking for a GBA game and it's not listed there.

It isn't listed for Genesis on www.allgame.com. I dunno if you can considr allgame.com as the end-all and be-all of Lists of Games Released -I mean they can't be 100% accurate - but they have A LOT of titles listed, so if it's not there, it probably doesn't exist. Even if it was a proto, there are odds that it would've been listed on allgame as Cancelled. Still, allgame has made many mistakes before, so this is not a definite, but it's a good possibility. But don't worry, as soon as you go back to that guy, you'll know for sure what it was you saw.

Ok, I was wrong here. I could have sworn I've seen a Genesis version of Magical Quest before, but I was probably thinking of Mickey Mania. :embarrassed:

My bad!

is the OP sure that he doesn't have the name of the title mixed up....its most likely one of the more common mickey genny titles...
