awesome, ive been wanting to get metroid prime 2, but didn't really want to spend more than $10 on it, didn't expect to pick up a new copy. I love how the 50 cent is already that cheap, surprised they're not giving it away.

those are some pretty good deals...I thought DQVIII was a steal for 25 bucks with my discount, it's amazing for 10 bucks! Such a great game. Put tons of time into that one.

I'm kinda interested in ratchet and clank and jak iii....may go grab those and probably another DQVIII if possible.

I don't know if anyone has been reading the thread over at CAG, but almost everyone of these $9.99 games is either out of stock or was bought last week (in hopes of adjusting the receipt).

Either way, most (if not all) of those games are long gone at your local CC.

It's still worth a trip for the $30.00 360 games however.

Very true. I was at CC on Friday (thinking that the sale already started), and I didn't see any newer games. Just stuff like Killzone and Battlefront.

If anyone picks up an extra Dragon Quest VIII, I'll trade ya nice for it.

Just got back from my local CC. They had all the games for 9.99 in one bin with a sign on it. There were only two of us there first thing this morning and all he was after was PSP Infected. He didn't look very hard for it before asking a sales clerk if they had any in stock and they went in the back and found him a copy. As I went thru the bin I ran across four of them, but he was too anxious about getting the game to look carefully. I got Dragons Quest VIII, which was my primary target and it was the only one in there. Marc Ecko's Getting Up, From Russia With Love, Fitty Cent, True Crime NY, SWAT, Matrix Neo and DBZ Saga was all there in abundance. I took one of each and a sales clerk approached me and said "Sir, there's a limit of three games per customer". I smiled and said thanks, then took them all to the register and paid for them. I checked the flyer later and it was a limit of three copies per game, not three games total. The idiot!

Anyway, since that guy was able to get a clerk to go in the back and bring him out Infected, I suspect they are holding some in reserve and it wouldn't hurt anyone to ask if they don't find what they're looking for.

I'm sorta suprised Marc Ecko's Getting Up dropped in price so fast, but I'm floored by Dragon Quest VIII hitting the bargain bin already! Very very happy to get that!

Anyone who's interested in Dragon Quest VIII should just grab this week's Circuit City flyer and try to price match at another store. I'm sure that will work. After all, it has all the 9.99 games listed right on it.

My circuit city had a crap load of all these games except only 1 PS2 From Russia with Love. They had probably 7-8 DQ8's and an abundance of MP2 Echoes and FF Crystal Chronicles.

I got these at the avondale store in AZ. Bit of a ways out there, but I ALWAYS score at that store! They had an abundance of everything, almost 20 copies of DQVIII. Only thing I forgot to look for was infected but I don't care that much about it.

My local store was shit as usual. It didn't have a damn thing and I saw one woman who was buying AT LEAST 100 games. They actually weren't any I was looking for from what I saw...mostly 50 cent heh. There were three clerks helping uncase and de-mag all the games. What a bitch.

I bought DQ VIII, which was hidden on the shelves behind other games. I was lucky to find it. I am such a cheapskate though that I hesitate to get it even at $10. I convinced myself that because it was an RPG in an outer cardboard box that it would hold it's value better.

I was really tempted to get "From Russia with Love", but I figure I may be able to find it used for less that that in not too long.


On a related note, Kmart seems to be clearancing off games also. I think they had Metroid Prime 2 for $10 also, plus they had "Baten Kaitos", which I heard was good, for $7.

I must say this is the best deal that I have seen in a long time. Most games on the list are very decent titles.

Yeah - CC has some sweet deals this week. I'm going there in about an hour to pick up Half Life 2, and Star Wars Battlefront.

Us 360 owners also get some sweet deals on some EA titles - $27 for madden 06 & Tiger Woods 06, $29 for Burnout Revenge and NBA Live '06. I may go grab TW for my dad, the avid golfer.

I also think they're trying to get rid of as many of the current model DS's they can before the Lite's come out in a few weeks, seeing as how they knocked another $10 off the price. I thought about buying one - but I've got my DS Lite reserved.

We should have a sticky sunday ad thread..... Just a suggestion.

got the same two myself, they had "fishy scent" -- (oops I mean 50 cent) bulletproof, but I passed.... maybe when it drops to a buck I will get it... also they had matrix game, but passed as well.
