What I do with shipping is, get your shipping information and provide you a shipping quote. When I get to the Post Office to ship your item(s) out, if the actual cost of the shipping is less than the quoted price, then I refund you the difference. If the actual cost of the shipping is more than the quoted price, I then ask you to pay the difference. Quite a simple procedure and works well, keeps both the buyer and seller happy.

And does it have some sort of PAL mode? I assume by "NTSC and Jap" you mean US mode and JP mode...Japan uses NTSC too.

The unit does not play burns, nor does it have a PAL mode. I guess I should have worded the description better, the switch is for US and JAP mode.
