Anyone following my blog knows that the house has been in a constant state of remodel since February. Today, a milestone! The game room is finished. Anyone who saw my old one will know that this is a *huge* improvement over the old setup.
Very nice looking set up and collection.

Very well organised. Everything looks clean and tidy. Especially like the way you've set-up your consoles, and the Space Invaders pictures on the wall look awesome.

(bumping an old thread)
New Update for 2008!
After a couple of years of letting it 'sit', I finally found a weekend to finish up the gameroom. For once, everything is hooked up, stored, etc. It's great to get it all together finally. I can't say that a couple of people posting pics of their rooms didn't motivate me to finish it up.

Those aren't the most absolutely newest pics (pics are a couple of months old), but this is a walkthrough from yesterday:

Yeah.. I'm nerdy/geeky enough to give you a narrative walk-through. Been then again, look where I hang out!

Needs more PlayStation, and to be in a room with pink walls.

Uh, it looks like you are doing absolute positioning and the hrefs for the thumbnails are underneath other things on the webpage. The stuff I could click on looked cool though.

I want a C128D so bad it hurts. Just can't afford the $150 they go for nowadays.

I like how you got the classic computers up and running instead of just stored on a shelf. Very clean setup man. I hope to one day say my entire collection was displayed as cleanly as yours.
Oh ... is that a pink NDS you have there?

I do love a neat and tidy game room. That's a great collection of hardware you have there!

OK, color me confused...did you move the game room across the house to a room that was more or less identical to the room it was in? Because this kinda looks like the room I was in about a year or so ago, before all of this baby stuff started happening.

It's the same room, sir, but it's *done* :) That's the big deal to me anyway. I added new shelves, wired up everything, put everything where it belongs, added more desks...

Bumping!
Updated all my pics. The game room has been completely redone since Emmy is starting to crawl and pull. The old shelves would have fallen over and that would have been bad. The next phase is to paint the room a nice orange again and paint the frames to the drawers. Of course, also add some decals to the ceiling.
