Will Rechargeable battery solve loose ac connection issue?

My new nomad works great with the battery pak but has problems when I go to use the ac because the connection is loose in the unit. My question is this: If I buy a rechargeable battery pak can I use this to power the unit with the ac plug even if the batteries are dead? Please Help

like most machines with support to charge your batteries inside its not recommended to operate the machine while charging the batteries. and for that matter you dont need to have any batteries in it inorder to make it run using your AC adaptor.
