What games came as Million Seller Versions on the SNES?

I know of:

F-Zero
Super Metriod
Tetris/Dr Mario
Super Mario Kart
Legend of Zelda
Super Mario World
Super Mario All-Stars

Also, has anyone noticed different labels on SNES games other than these? I know that I had two different labels for Speedy Gonzales at one time but it disappeared.

I'm not sure how many there are but here's my two cents

Sim City
Donkey kong country
legend of zelda a link to the past

basically all nintendo developed games that sold million+

Yeah.
(All 3 DKCs by the way)

I know Super Star Wars was definitely a million seller title, or at least got the players choice badge. Took me a while to find a non-badged loose cart at a decent price.

zombies ate my neigbors had two differnt labels/boxes in the us.
zelda a link to the past had differnt box designs too, the greatest shits version has a rocky background where the regualr one had a golden background.

Super Mario RPG was late to the gate. It didn't get a whole lot of press and some people moved on before ever even knowing its genius. Thanks for the Zombies heads-up Blitzwing256. I don't suppose you have both and would like to post picks.
If the box is different does that me the cart is different? I'm not a completist in that fashion.
Also, I've never heard the term "greatest shits" before, but it fits.

the first is the more common release.
the second i found late in the snes' life at a kaybee toys
i'm not sure if the cart label is differnt (this one is sealed)

greatest shits = player's choice ;-)
I have both of those as well if you want a picture of em.

i've never seen another copy of the alternate boxart for the zombies game, i'm curiious if the genesis version has both arts as well.

Thanks again Blitzwing256! Man, thats awesome! About 70 carts on Ebay right now and not the first one has a pic of a cart with the box art that you have.

I looked through my collection. I have an original copy of Super Star Wars, so lucked out there. I have numerous copies of Zelda and only ever run across the original.

Zelda is the only Million Seller that they changed the art on right? All the others were just badged?

no problem,
zelda is the only one I know of perosnaly, I was surprised to find it new at a flea market of all things near the end of the snes' life.

not sure if it was mentioned, but mario cart is a million seller as well.

Speedy Gonzales does have two labels. I found them both on Ebay. One is 8251055937 and the other is 8290202720. I remember noticing that the font on the top was different. Comparing the two labels, one says assembled in Mexico and the other says made in Japan. The ESRB labels are different with one having a red band on the top. The one I have says assembled in Mexico, has a stamped back cartiridge rather than a label and is number SNS-ASEE-USA. Can anyone say which is more common? Does anyone have the Made in Japan one and can take a pic and tell me if the part number is different?

that's a different issue altogether. The 'assembled in mexico' games are majesco variants (rereleases). They will have B&W manuals and boxes and labels with a shallower color strike. They are not million sellers and are not badged.

I asked about all variants. But you filled me in on some good information.

The lettering on the top of the label is a different font, thats mostly why I asked and thats why I noticed it in the first place. I would have hardly noticed the difference in assembled in Mexico and made in Japan, but it helps identify it.

I'm guessing that since 8289637108 has a black and white manual that the assembled in Mexico cart is the rerelease, right?

I got my boxed copy of Zombies today that has the box art like yours Blitzwing. I don't know if its the original cart but its the same as the one that I already have.

is the cart by chance the cheaper plastic that the later snes relleases were made from (check some of the majesco releases to see what i'm talking about)

The manual that I have is the same as the old box art and not the box art that blitzwing and I have. That is saying that it is the right manual.

The cart seems to be the same plastic as most of the other carts that I have. But then I really didn't notice much difference in the majesco carts.

Do the majesco rereleases have the integrated back statement formed in plastic, do the originals have them, or do both have them?
