So I bought a VB at a thrift store the other day. When I got it home at about three o'clock, it worked just fine. Then at eight, when I tried to play it again, there were some slight graphical problems. Then, this morning when I tried to play it again, the left eye is severely garbled.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Anyone that I can send it to to be fixed? Please help.

It's just a loose ribbon cable, most likely. The hard part is getting them open to fix it. I've never seen a nintendo bit screwdriver that was thin enough to fit all the way down into the VB screw holes (if someone has one, i'd be very interested in where they got it from).

You can modify a flathead screwdriver by notching out the middle and using that. Be carefull tho, the last one i repaired, i stripped out one of the screws and had to drill it out with a dremmel.

So should this ribbon cable be pretty obvious when I open it up? I do have a custom made tool to crack it.

They're the brown cables with white strips, see fig.3:
