Capcom's 3D fighters suck anyhow.

I would much rather have any of the following:


New Vampire Hunter
New SF
New Vs series


But, they're nowhere in sight! :(

It's kind of hard to tell, but I think you're talking about Mega Man and Bass (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/categories/products/product.asp?pf_id=232054). The original Super Famicom release is just another Mega Man game (they could have called it Mega Man 8.5), but perhaps Capcom added something to this GBA port.

By the way, is "Mega Man" one word or two?

Hopefully they will now start working on Street Fighter 4 and Marvel vs Capcom 3.

I'm not too surprised...
The public reaction to this game was so bad that its no wonder if got canned. If I recall, capcom said after cvs2 they'd take a 2 year hiatus from 2d fighters...so I suppose its about time for a new game. God I hope its not another cvs...the first 2 were utter trash compared to alot of fighters they've made (like Alpha 3, 3rd Strike, ST, HF...), cvs games were more on par with SF Alpha 1, or SF3 New Generation, or Super SF2.

Come on! They can't just throw this in the trash! What's the point of spending all that time making a game if you're just going to cancel it? This is almost as dumb as Sega deepsixing their Sonic arcade game, at the height of Sonic's popularity and at a time when arcades were still a profitable business.

I wasnt too excited about this game anyhow. Like someone said earlier, 3D Capcom fighters stank. I rather play SF2. :P

I enjoyed the EX games but I agree they are definitely not true 3D more like a 2D game with 3D graphics, maybe Capcom Fighting AllStars was going the same way so they canned it, whatever, but to be honest, what I really have been dreaming about is a complete remake of the Original Street Fighter with updated 2D animation, imagine how smooth that could look and if the gameplay were on the money, ohhhh yeah 8-)

Agreed. I can live without this game. I think Capcom has no more Marvel license, so I think MvsC3 is dead in the water. Street Fighter 4 would be a nice replacement tho.
