I'd say if it's in the box, it's a cool collector's item. From what I understand though, they don't work worth a crap.

I don't know about the value, but I'm pretty sure it's not morth much.

But I can tell you that it sucks. I own it, and I can't stand trying to use it. You have to aim the controller at the sensor in order for it to pick up on your controls. If you move the controller the slightest bit your button pushing isn't sent. And for some reason it kept pausing the game when I used it.. I think it might automatically use the start button if your control isn't in line with the sensor. It's not a good controller, basically.
