Can anyone point me in the direction of TRACKBALL COMPATIBLE PSone games? I can't find one anywhere...

I picked up a new Trackball today for 99 cents! :D

Maybe the Command and Conquer series. I think they are mouse compatable. I assume that would go for the trackball as well.

good luck

Was it the Nyko trackball, or something different? The Nyko's the only one I've seen, and I paid much more than that for the two I have...

To answer your question, any game that's mouse compatible should work with a trackball. Command and Conquer, Rat Attack, the arcade compilation games like Missile Command (Atari Collection), Marble Madness and Crystal Castles (Atari Collection 2), that sort of thing.

BTW, if you're a Missile Command player, I recommend the Arcade's Greatest Hits Atari Collection version over the Atari Anniversary Edition version, because the former lets you use a regular controller plugged into the second port to fire missiles. Anniversary Edition requires you to press the two buttons on the mouse/trackball simultaneously to fire from delta base. [EDIT: Whoah. PDF has apparently proven me wrong. While I don't know how I possibly could have been wrong (inconceivable!), please disregard my slander of Atari Anniversary Edition. Which in all respects r0xX0rZ.] I haven't played the "Missile Command" standalone PSX disc.

I got a Nyko Trackball today for $3. Is there a list of trackball/mouse-compatible games on this site? Have any been discovered since then?

I would add Blockids and Sorcerer's Maze to this list because those are 2 Breakout clones. Also, I hope Dune 2000 will work. I'd like to try Sheep with it, but I haven't been able to figure Sheep out with the controller...

Is there any way to relist this thread as Mouse/Trackball Compatible PS1/PS2 Games?

If mouse is included... Tokimeki Memorial. Great game.

Dune 2000 and Simcity 2000.

Also! You can indeed play with a second controller in Atari Anniversary Edition. I had Missile Command set up at OKGE like that, though it took folks a while - and a demo or two from me - to pick up on it. That's the one thing I didn't print up an informative education placard for. LOL

I am reviving this because I am highly dissapointed to find out that Peter Jacobson's Golden Tee Golf does NOT work with the trackball.

What's the point then? Might as well just play Hot Shots golf..... x_x

Probably because the support for trackball games was so sparse that it would have been pointless, that and it would have probably required a differently programed version or something to work properly.

Die Hard Trilogy, one of the games is a rails gun game that only supports a mouse, no gun.

DHT does support a gun. Certainly the Pal version, anyway.

Shanghai True Valor would be a lot more fun with a trackball (it does have mouse support), although it's a good game anyway.

I haven't tried it with my guncon yet, but all I know is that theres no label on the back of the case for a gun.

Yeah, I checked my case after I read your post and sure enough, there's no gun pic on the back of the box. However, there's mention of it in the instructions and I've definitely played it using a gun. Not sure why they didn't mention it though.

I think it would have been cool if some of the PC ports to the Playstation would support the mouse, like Diablo & Warcraft II. I have a PS1 mouse with the plastic sony pad, but no PS1 games that use it!

Now, I have a Playstation One and want to pick up 2 original Playstations because it pisses me off that they didn't keep the serial communication port. I want to play Descent 1 & 2 so bad over 2 TVs. Grrr!
