im short of videogame funds, and wanted to trade in my old DS, and maybe my micro (i love the little guy, but dont use it much- and i can barely hear it..) anyone know what gamestop will give in credit? any suggestions??

They give crap, don't do it. You're better off selling the stuff at a flea market, a pawn shop or eBay.
Generally though, they give about a 3rd of what they sell the item for used. Sometimes they'll give 50% of the worth of an item if it's in demand.

Seconded. It's an easy out to get money, but you'll get more selling it outright. I wouldn't give it to a game store.
