I just picked up my 600th unique NES game, Legends of the Diamond. The funny thing is that along with all of the uber-rares, there's still a bunch of commons on my missing list.
Did you ever go out hunting and see a common game that you could have sworn that you had because its so common, and then when you got home you find that you still needed it?
One of these days I'm going to have to take a few pictures for the "Room of Doom" section here.

yea.. I've actually got to the point where my nes collection just needs the games that go for 20$+ on ebay.. Some of them i feel fairly sure i'll never find and I actively keep an eye open for a forgotten ebay auction.. but for the most part, I'm set with everything below Tengen Tetris

I have around 400 NES games and I'm missing just one common Nintendo brand game: SMB/DH/TM that came with the Powerpad set. There are other 3rd party common games I'm missing.
Sometimes I wonder if the rarity list is really a popularity list since often time a certain common game are nonexistient in my area yet a few 'A' game keeps popping up (once I saw 4 copies of green Namco Pac Man for NES, have a CIB in my collection)

i'm somewhere in the 500's on NES games and i still on average find 5 games a week with no signs of slowing down or signifcantly increasing how much i pay per cart. i am delighted to find so many of the titles i need going for under $4 at funco, i suppose if i picked up the $5 ones i could easily be in the 600s by now. a lot of rares have just turned up and i'm happy with that. i keep a needs list for the NES on my palm but even with that it wasnt until last week that i finally realized i needed that greg norman golf game, even though i've seen it a million times. having the palm list really does help though especially with so many sequels and similarly named titles...i'm always asking myself "have i got all the games with ninja or dragon in the titles yet?"
