I think Capcom is getting more and more retarded by the day.

If you're gonna put CvS2 online, why not MvC2? >:(

Not sure about getting an xbox now...

LOL LOL LOL LOL
Hahahaahhaha!

Capcom's laziness reaches new heights!

This company is unbelievable. You weren't exactly expecting them to add something to the game that is already years old were you? C'mon, get serious!

Hey, maybe they'll scan some old drawings of the characters into a fan favorite gallery mode instead.

I'm with you. I'd much rather have Marvel Vs Capcom online than Capcom Vs SNK. I like the Marvel characters a little better. Of course I get torn between Storm, Mai, and Rogue. Decisions, decisions.

Of course I was. Capcom vs SNK 2 is online isn't it?

A more than 2 year old game that's already on 2 other systems will sell like crap without the online play.

I'd hazard a guess it's because there's alot more shit to keep track of in MvC2 then in cvs2, and since it's a game based alot more on timing, the lag would be more of an issue. Hell it was bad enough on the Japanese DC, and that country is alot smaller (even though its 56k). I couldn't imagine it working but they still shoulda left it in.

This is quite a blow for online gaming, although the arcades probably won't complain...MvC2 competition is one of the games that's still highly profitable, they go online, and that would be a major blow to the industry.

Two words.

FUCKING BULLSHIT.

Time to launch my Xbox off a cliff. So now I have to wait until:

a. Someone emulated the DC on XBox and adds in network support that will work imports.

b. They emulate MvsC2 on the PC.

Jesus. My day is officially ruined.

Not really, but that sucks a fat one. I play MvsC2 way.... WAY too much, and MvsC2 online was my future fix. And I just ordered a magic box converter to use my DC stick on my XBox!

What dumbasses, they should know that games with online capabilities on consoles...ALWAYS sell well...even if they suck, they could at least slop a mode together, and make some quick cash off it...lazy assholes.

I agree with ubersaurus, this game is about timing. If you get lag, it might throw your game off. But on the other hand, i dont play VS games anymore. I do get the itch to pull out the Saturn to play Marvel vs street fighter, but I forgot most the moves by now. Much easier to just play some SSF2 on my SNES. :D

I heard that because the Marvel lisence is now hot property, it would have taken Capcom alot more time working out legal matters to alter the product. I think they know what they have and would like to have seen it go on-line.

If that's the case, fuck Activision. Why do they have the Marvel license when the X-Men games they make suck. >:(

I'm under the belief that had the marvel 2 engine caught on outside North America, that capcom probably would have made another game with it, using just their characters, or theirs and another license that they could come up with (like DC or something). But MvC2 bombed for the most part in Japan, although I guess there's a small following over there for it (like the US and SF3: 3rd Strike).
