Anyone ever call people "Noob Saibot"

I understand it's "Tobias Boon," but does anyone ever call their friends or foes "Noob Saibot" or "Saibot" or even "Sai" or "Fucking Sai" if they are ever beeing a total noob sauce. Our friends, and school for that matter, use "Noob Saibot" so frequently that people who are unfamiliar with the character are using it.


Another slang we use is "Mike Watt" for the bassist of Minutemen. We use his name when refering to Water ie: "Can I get a Mike Watt?" But that's a totally different story...

Share some of your related stories or drunken games.


For example. Instead of playing "Smash Bros." play "Get Smashed Bros."

Heh, if I recall correctly, Noob Saibot goes all the way back to Mortal Kombat II. I haven't heard that name in years.

As for my own bastardization of VG stuff-ness:

My old co-worker and I used to joke around with the name of the game "Grabbed by the Ghoulies". I told him that it sounded like a saying for "grabbed by the balls" and whenever we'd play a beat 'em up game and either one of us would get hit we'd say "I've been grabbed by the ghoulies!" or "Ow, my ghoulies!"

In the late '90s, I thought Noob Saibot was a great name, to the point where that was my username in messageboards back then. Unfortunately, everyone's "NEWB JUST GOT PWNED" infatuation caused me to ditch it and go back to the classic ryborg.
