I purchased cart only 8 months ago on eBay for $8 + reasonable shipping.

is the game good? I read it has two game play sytles (collect and then run?) and gets awfully repetitive quickly?

the game is fun for about 3 levels...i know the cart only is worth nothing...i want to know how much it is worth complete. this was a rental game only so most boxes and manuals are destroyed with stickers etc. It is also an R7 game making it really rare.

Haven't played yet, I moved and still trying to set up my RoD and consoles. Had it looking good, everything ie. wires, consloes and multi 27" TV's in the front room, just can't seem to get it looking right, looks too cramped, un-orginizes...might need to get larger shelving or rack system.

Jwillie, I know it is an R7. I actually have a complete copy myself. But complete R7's sell all the time on ebay for about $25. For example, I was watching a compete Bebe's Kids BIN for $15, it was up for 30 days, and I don't think it ever sold. So that is what I'm basing my guess on. I could be wrong, but I see R7's sell all the time for that. I myself sold a complete copy of No Escape for $20 a while back

on the other hand, two Final Fight Guy games both just sold for over $100, so like I said, I might be totally wrong. But it kinda looks like everyone elses recent purchases are validating my guess.

k sucker punch. im getting a range from 20-50$ on its value...most people saying 30-40$. i would have thought it to be more since you never see this in good shape. kinda like a complete final fight guy...but i guess the cheaper the better...thanks everyone for your input.

R7 for the SNES doesn't really mean anything. All it means is that it doesn't go up for sale as much as some of the other games, but when it is up for sale, it isn't going to cost you very much.
Look at Chavez II for the SNES. That's an R8, but routinely goes for 10 bucks on ebay.

Agreed. Chavez II I got for about $8, and I saw it on eBay at least once every month. I'm not sure it's an R8.

On the other hand you also have to look at the quality of these games. Bebe's Kids is one of the worst SNES games out there. Chavez II is a sports title. Firedogs is a fairly obscure game that I would bet wouldn't command a lot, simply because gameplay wise it's isn't up to snuff.

Look at R8 Aero Fighters, now that game is really rare because it's actually good. So people hang onto it, and when it does appear, the bid war begins.

On one hand you're asking for our opinions but on the other you refuse to accept the figures that people give you.

Ok, It's uber-rare and worth a hundred million dollars. Satisfied?

For the record I have a boxed copy as well (no manual). That's at least 3-4 of us in this thread alone so it can't be THAT rare.

I probably wouldn't pay more than $30 myself.

To piggyback on the thread, has anyone seen a complete Final Fight Guy in spiffy condition pass hands recently? Been wondering what that'd go for, mainly because the guide mentions that the box is incredibly hard to find.

this final fight guy was really spiffy, and just sold like, last week. LINK (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8287395411&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1) $255 spiffy @_@ another less spiffy copy (no manual) sold about a day prior for ~ $100.

griking - I don't think jwillie was unwilling to accept anything, just a little suprised at first. Back in the day I kinda would have been suprised that an R7 sold for $25 when some commons sell for around $75 +.

anyways, live and learn

I remember this game and it got boring pretty quickly Once you play the first level, you've played the entire game.

I have Firedogs complete. Its one of the few ones that I have complete. I bought it off of Ebay something like 2 years ago for about 12.

Final Fight Guy I don't have and really don't keep up with it much but swear I have seen more copies complete than not.

As far as the rarity/pricing goes. If it super rare there's a high price on it because there is low quantity and higher demand or high demand, high price. But demand can affect price the other way around. Low demand because the game stinks like Dream TV and Bebe's Kids, low price, no matter the availability. Now the best games like Metroid, DKC, Mario Kart are widely available, have a high demand and there for a higher price. So demand ultimately determines price and not rarity except in uber rare situations.

Sorry to go off topic but I think I have an extra Final Fight Guy box lying around if anyone wanted to make me an offer for it.

What about Flinstones for nes? That game was ASS, yet its worth almost $100?

I think quite a few of the R7's are subject to debate. This one rarely turns up on ebay, that unreliable barometer of rarity. Many of the others mentioned show up fairly regularly. Maybe because the NES is older than the SNES and has a larger collector base? Maybe the game is rarer than generally thought?
