Who is going this time? I expect to see some new faces, considering no one can cop out with the standard "holiday" excuse.
Now, for the trading, I will be bringing a MV-1 MVS board along with miscellaneous other stuff I'm not interested in anymore. I'll also have a bunch of N64 boxes and manuals.
I'm interested in 2600 carts and accessories, Vectrex carts with at least the overlay, Neo-Geo MVS carts, and lots of other stuff for various platforms I have missed out on. I'm also looking to get systems I don't have, such as: Lynx, Gamegear, Intellivision, Colecovision, 7800, 32X and Sega CD. And as always, I want any NGP/NGPC items I don't have, which mainly consists of import items now.
Yep, it's that time again!
ARMAGEDDON
This, in these parts, is known more casually as "NAVA". If you've been to one, you know what to expect - top-notch trading, super deals, plenty of gaming, carousing with the Clifton locals, beer, pizza, and fresh fruit.
SO... don't miss this one! And don't give me that "wahh, it's a holidayyyy" business. According to my calendar ("Girls of the Orient"), there's nothing else going on that weekend. So if you want to get in on the action and see this awesome calendar, you just need to show up already.
WHEN: Saturday, June 24th, noon-midnight
WHERE: Digital Press Videogames (see http://www.digitpress.com/nava.htm for directions and local lodging)
WHAT: Bring your trade stuff, your show and tell stuff, and your bloodlust. Most importantly, bring snacks and/or soda =D
See ya's on the 24th.

I believe I shall be there IF I can do the same thing I did last time to go up(hint hint-Chris and Nick), and I believe I will be bringing up a few 32x games and maybe some other stuff depending on what I get from now til then.

Good thing I didn't make plans yet for St Jean Baptiste Day (http://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.com/index.cfm?PgNm=TCE&Params=U1ARTU0003085) yet.
Only thing that could come in to play is Little League playoffs but I won't have my kids' playoff schedules for another week.

Wow, I'm scooped again! Glad to see the announcement made the forums.
Attendees - be sure to post what you're looking for so the rest of us know what to bring. Alternately, if you think someone might be interested in something you may or may not bring with you, ask about it here and see if ya get any bites.
Only two weeks away! NAVA day is my favorite day of the month.

Me too. :( I have three graduation parties I am invited to, only one of which I actually want to go to. I'm still not sure how long I will be able to stay for, but I will be coming.

Hey, good to see ya here Tom - I guess this means I'll have to return those groovy sunglasses you left behind at February's NAVA. Damn, I look pretty slick in those, too.
See ya on the 24th.

(movie announcer voice, over quickly edited images of Kid Ice walking into the store with a case of beer, beating some junior high school kid in Tekken 5, dropping a pile of 3DO boxes on the shelf, arguing with Patrick Wong about Indiana Jones, testing out Genesis cartridges, and relieving everyone of their Dreamcast games)
The forecast for June 24th is... ICE

I intend to show up this month.
With me i tend to bring my only cart copy of the Mogul Maniac on atari 8 bit ( the talked about romox cart one) refer to www.angelfire.com/nj2/atari/rare.html ( it might be rare2.html.if its not on the rare.html.)
also i should have my prototype #3 copy of what might be Rescue on Fractalus for the atari 5200.
. this one is BEFORE the Rescue on Fractalus
dated 2/29/84, even is before the behind Jaggi lines. 2-13/84. i belive this is dated 1/20/84 *whole month earlier*.
and the outside shot i might also have the prototype The Atari Open cart for atari 5200 . this is early this one is dated 11-19. but no year since the copyright is 1982 im assuming 1982.
oh yes does anyone want me to bring my proto of the atari 2600 version of ernie and the alpha beam with prototype manual. with different art work.
i am really unsure what to bring i have forsale:
1.) 3 or 4 bare atari 2600s. with joysticks if any interest PM me ill bring it. 2.) i might have a bare atari 800 also in the basement.
3.) alot of extra atari force comics. DC comics.
4.) Green IPOD. with Wall plug in.
what i want
more prototypes. and maybe a hand held system or 2.
im bringing a broken one with me i hope u can indentify it and maybe help me locate an unbroken one.
PM and let me know if u want me to bring those FORSALE items and if u want me to bring all the prototypes

I'm interested in some Japanese Saturn games maybe...depends on the titles. Let me know what you have.
The only US DC game I'm really looking for right now is Cannon Spike so if you have it in good shape bring it along.
More people should post their general want lists...I have so much stuff and it would be nice to know what to bring.

I will most likely not be there. I will be in Connecticut most of the day, and then in Newark.
Sounds like fun, eh?

I'll be there, not sure if it's an all-day deal or not but I will. Mr. Hardie, if you're reading this, I have a Kevtris cartridge with your name on it still.
Other than that, I'll probably have some other stuff, not sure what yet. Does anyone coming have any use for laserdiscs?
As for what I'd like to see there (aside from people), there's a few specific things I still want game-wise that people *might* have laying around. I still want Jaguar Defender 2000, 2600 Klax, Subterranea and Cosmic Commuter (anything else I need for the system right now is either too rare, too far out of my price range or Double Dragon), and Nintendo 64 Neon Genesis Evangelion and Sin And Punishment. Also, in the oddball request department, if there's a copy of Buster Douglas Boxing for Genesis laying around anywhere, I'll probably take that too, because I just read on KLOV that it's basically a Genesis port of Final Blow (insert jokes about the title here), which I used to play the hell out of at the 79 Deli in Marlboro, NJ. Don't ask me how I went almost 20 years without knowing this.

I will be there, not exactly sure what I am going to bring yet, but i think I will bring some 32x games, 2600-London Blitz, and VB-Mario Clash if anybody wants them.
As far as stuff that I want, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for SMS or Genesis, preferably Genesis. And a NGPC with a game or two, preferably cheap due to lack of money because my job doesnt start until next week. But other than thatI can't think of too much right now.

If anyone is interested in a nice loaded MAME box, drop me a PM. This one used to belong to zektor if you catch my drift.
Also I have a Commodore set up with a bunch of boxed games that I might let go if the price is right. I'm not looking to unload it, but I might be persuaded to let it go.
I also have lots of Commodore productivity software, and a whole bunch of Commodore books to get rid of.
I will have the same tabletops and handhelds that I had at the April meeting...a couple people expressed interest and wanted me to bring them back.
Oh yeah, as always my interest is in complete 3DO games, complete 2600 games, and Playstation long boxes. Odd combination, eh?

Sorry I couldn't stay too long. As always it was nice to see the gang again. I had way too many things to get done this weekend.
On the upside, bj's was having a sale on 5 gallons of mayonaise and snow blowers....
I got all 5 Dell exams out of the way, so at least my boss will stop ragging on me.
I'll hang out more the next time.

I had a blast as always.
I got some good stuff from drexel in a couple trades, some games I have been after for a while. And then I ended up just selling all of my stuff to him anyway. Of course, I got a few miscellaneous goodies I needed from the store too.

This was the best NAVA so far as far as "stuff to buy" goes. It's going to take me a month to sort thru it all. Thanks especially to Mr Keller for the big lot deal.
Pictures forthcoming.
