Ok I have a Sega Saturn with a modded switch in the back for USA or Import games I guess.
I finally got a Sega Saturn game, Sonice 3-D. I accidently had it switch to import mod I guess and it said "The game disc is unusable in this system" Something like that. I turned it off and switched it to USA and it worked. So am I able to buy Import games and it would play? I thought I needed a 4 in 1 Cart..
Thanks

Yes you can play Imports, but you will need the 4 in 1 cart if the game requires the cart for extra Ram. Example: You will still need the cart for "Marvel Super Heroes Vs Streetfighter".

But you don't necessarily need a 4 in 1 cart. For games that require extra RAM you will need a RAM cart, which is one of the 4 in 1's features.

Yeah you can use just the normal 4 meg ram cart that was made for those game.

Sounds to me like the Sonic 3-D was a US copy? If that's the case, it should probably be working fine. Get a PAL / JPN game and try it maybe.
