Chrome hounds, the next big mech game from from software. this game is a big deal. it's one of the deepest, custamizable xbox live games this summer and it's not a port. turn on xbox live and it's no where to be found. no trailor no demo nada.
my point is why isn't ms hyping one of it's biggest boys of summer? folks this is a online squad based mech simulator. this game will get reviewed 8's and 9's after it hits shelves.
am I the only one excited about 360's first mech sim?

No - you're not alone. But you don't have long to wait.

There was a trailer during E3, it may still be up. Full Auto also has a trailer under the extras. IGN has videos galore.
There's one problem - Prey is coming out the same day, and it's naturally gonna get more attention since it's been in development for almost 10 years.

Yeah, bummer that Prey is coming out the same day. Granted they are both titles that will be worth owning.

O_O WOW. Any links to early screenshots of it?
Looks like June, July and especially August are going to be wallet busters for 360 owners. :-P
I'm waiting to see just how "sim" Chromehounds is. I'd love a "Mech Assault" type of game, but I think that Chromehounds is a bit more seriously detailed.

Why do some games get trailers and some do not?
My only thought has been becaus the game is going to be delayed, or it's bad (Rumble Roses recent demo relreased way after the fact).
I do not think Chromehounds is goind to be bad, there seems to be a much greater emphasis on quality games with th 360 then there has been with prevoius systems, which is because of developement costs.
Good question though and the E3 trailer looked great.
Prey and Battle For Middle-Earth have gotten no demos either, though a trailer is available for BFME2.

First of all, this game is beautiful... GREAT, the graphics and gameplay, are terrific, the customizable mechs...excellent. So far in one online game, the multiplayer is sweet, when you are able to get into a room.. Yes there are some connection issues, but so far no lag, but I haven't played enough online to acurately judge. Overall the game is a great mech game, on par with mech assault, but BETTER.... I would say its like mech assault and steel batallion with out the crazy controller. enjoy!

Definitely a great game. The HUD is spectacular. I've never seen so much info, including the great aiming pic-in-pic ever devised. Combat is straight MechAssault, while the deep "I really need a tutorial" customization of the mechs is there for the fans of that stuff.
There's no need to actually do all that though. You can take a pre-built mech and really deal damage. Weapons have a great satisfying feeling when things go boom. Lighting model is spectacular, though the audio is, well, crap. The walking sound is aggravating as hell.

It is where it belongs... not on the store shelves!
I personally found the demo really lackluster and I was just starting to get excited about this, too. The reviews haven't helped, either, I guess.
What do you guys see in this game? I know there is a little bit of a 360 drout at the moment, but still...

This game is so awesome :D
The singleplayer is kinad boring, but Multiplayer in the neromius war mode with a good squad is so rad.
If you love Armored Core and don't mind the slow pace then this game is great.
All of the reviews I've seen review it as a single player game and just mention it having multiplayer. This game is more of an MMO than a single player. If you don't have Gold, don't buy this.
This game is a lot better than the 4s and 5s it's been getting

gotta agree, the game is an aquired taste, but the reviews have been quite harsh in my book, the online RULES.....

Actually the game didn't do too well

You really can't take TeamXBOX seriously. Most of their reviews aren't really that accurate. I feel the best at reviewing is Gamespot.com.
