View Full Version : Any way to tell this in a certain INTV game?

So I'm auctioning off a few R5 INTV games, and I got this question for one of them:

Do you know which version of the Chip Shot Golf cartridge is in your eBay auction? The easiest way to tell is as follows: from the title page, select the Pro Shop. Then press '0' to get the game credits. The credit for Dave Warhol will either say 'Caddy' or 'Caddie' depending on the version.
Thanks.

Problem is, I don't OWN an Intellivision! My business is buying old game carts to resell on eBay. I told him I couldn't check, but I'm curious... is there a way to find out based on the packaging or manual? The cart label ain't helping and the lady wanted like $60 for a dirty, rusted INTV system. :eek 2:

Have you checked any Intellivision emulators yet?

...how do you propose he plays this cartridge in an emulator?

if there is no physical characteristic between the 2, then short of buying an intelli to try it on your SOL

is there anything different about the pcb that you can check on?

With magic! LOL

I can't open the carts, they don't have any screws on 'em and to be honest I kinda get the willies from messing around with games in general.

I think those late-release Intellivsion cartridge cases are glued together instead of screwed together. I'm not familiar with that variation but most of the Intellivision variations like that are either ultra rare or nobody has found an actual cartridge with that version of the game.
