If anyone is/has been collecting boxed Game Gear games, I have been having a hell of a time trying to figure out what did and did not come out in the USA. The DP list DEFINITELY needs an overhaul.
I was informed Pengo was not released in the USA, but it is listed. Baby Boom never came out period, and some of the US Gold games I think are Euro only, and some games are listed twice! Anyone have any ideas on some of these games?
Loose carts are a negative, boxes are the ones that tell the story...

This is something that's come up a few times - as you say, there's a few dubious US titles in the current list.
Etler's probably the best person to ask about the US side - he posted the following in this older thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54394) in the Collector's Guide forum (which also mentions a couple of titles missing from the US list):
These are still listed as US releases and none have been confirmed. Can these be moved to either non-US (where confirmed) or Rumor Mill?
Alien Syndrome (known Euro & Japanese release)
Baby Boom (pretty sure this was cancelled, does it exist anywhere?)
Championship Hockey (possible Euro release of NHL All Star?)
Pengo (known Euro & Japanese release)
Power Drive (known Euro release published by US Gold and developed by Rage)
Tony LaRussa Baseball (which I previously mentioned)
Trunski (other then game lists there is absolutely no other mention of this game on any site)
One odd one is CJ Elephant Fugitive - it's generally listed as a Euro title, and I've only seen them on this side of the pond, but the packaging is more like a US release (purple stripe, English-only box/manual) than any of Codemasters other Euro releases. It also has a US-style part number (missing the -50 suffix found on other Euro titles of the era)

Yeah, that's a grip of titles.
I've yet to even see box scans of some of the ones ON the list still. Some of these are tougher to find than Game Boy titles!
