I would have talked him down to $75, but if you're going to play the stuff at least you'll have fun with it. Sure, a hundred bucks is a lot of cash but you're a GAMER.
Enjoy!

A Dreamcast, 101 total games, a huge supply of accessories, and, to top it all off, 6 issues of a Dreamcast Magazine. A good deal? Heck yes! I'd pay up to $300 for that (if I had the money).

I'm at $37.50 at that point in the list. I know, I know... I'm a really cheap bastard.

If you just counted the complete games it would come out at $3 each. Throw in all the hardware and loose games and I think its a no brainer that you got a great deal.

Thanks guys!
Last night I spent most of the night playing Space Channel 5, which I'd never played before yesterday (and I love it), Dynamite Cop, and Soul Calibur.
Soul Calibur looks fantastic running through VGA! @_@
I also played a bit of Gunbird II, it's a fantastic shooter, but I wish it supported the VGA box :(

They're my "buy" prices, not my "sell" prices. He's a buyer, so I'm looking at it from his point of view. Dig?

This was kind of a stupid question, no offence. I mean, you got a friggin VGA adaptor! You got a pretty darn good deal, especially with all those accessories. However, it does kind of suck that the best value games you got from the deal are loose (I.E. Gunbird 2, Skies of Arcadia, and Resident Evil 2).

Yuck! :D
Though loose DCs aren't worth much at all. I could see that, definitely.

I think this was a fantastic deal. One of the parts in that list that is the sleeper deal, are the VMU's. You got 7 of them. These things go for a bare minimum of 3.00 each. So that is 21 dollars right there in VMU's.
Notable complete games include:
Bleemcast for Tekken 3
Confidential Mission
D-2
Dynamite Cop
Headhunter
Tokyo Xtreme Racer
Zombie Revenge

Yeah but the VGA adaptor is a third party one. It works great. I just wish there was a passthrough so I didn't have to unscrew the monitor from my PC to connect it to my Dreamcast.
I think I'll just look at picking up a VGA-VGA switch to just switch between the two sources.

haha cant go by trade in prices. A store can since yer paying rent and employees and all that. Us mundanes cant do that.
Took me awhile to adapt after getting out of the game store business...
But seriously.. are you gonna have an online section for the store or anything?

Yeah definately a good buy. If someone brought that into my store there's no way I'd expect to get it for only $100. You got a really nice deal and a really nice start on a kickass dreamcast collection there.

sounds like a hell of a deal to me!
I paid $200 Canadian for a Dreamcast, 2 official controllers, 1 (crappy) third party controller, a gun, and a dozen loose gains three years ago.
ddwaaahhh?! $100 for all of that? I would have jumped on that in a second. I just got a DC off of e-bay and paid around $50 with it and it came with 3 games (discs only), 2 contollers, the cords and VMU w/ dead battarie. I also grabbed D2 off of half.com for $18. I guess $70 isn't that bad for what I got, but that's the deal of the century.
