the last doa I played for any significant period of time is doa2 dc. I missed out on doa3 due to never owning an original xbox. the game is beautiful and the japanse stages are cool but no Tengu?! :angry: what happen to our beloved japanese folklore troll?? was he replaced by alpha 152? no tonly that, there is not that many levels. and a giant tatami mat is comsidered a level? -_- no beach, forest or snow level? seems like the entire game is riding on the japanese and casino levels and everything else is filler.
browsing throguh the achivment list brings up a nice lengthy list of locked secrets. so far I've only beat the game on normal with three characters.
btw, dose the team ninja intro movie that begins as soon as you insert the game hint as any secrets in the game?

Tengu is a hidden character. Complete time attack with every character to unlock him... and he still sucks balls.

okok :) thanks man! but dose he have his own level? dose the team ninja intro movie have any connection to the game? The open ocean waves look cool in the movie. imo the mountain top above the clouds would make the ideal grand finale.

No he doesn't have his own level as such, but you can unlock a hidden Tatami level which is very useful when playing as Tengu.
As for the Team Ninja intro, it's just their logo... in DOA3 and Ninja Gaiden it was FMV, and on DOA4 and the upcoming DOAX2 it's completely redone in polygons. It has no sway on the game whatsoever.

yup, that Ninja Team logo runs at smooth and stable 60fps, looks pretty slick.
