Saw these in a seedy part of town in some grass by some abandoned buildings. All the games had the boards. Looks like someone just pulled out the monitors and dumped the cabs.

The bowling game is a Ms. Pac cab. They were all water damaged from being in the rain and definitely not worth taking home.

That's too bad. I used to enjoy Hat Trick.

there was 1 coin mech in the hat trick that i took. the enduro racer marquee is sitting in my front mud room, but there's holes drilled in it for some reason.

i doubt they'd do anyone much good. sitting out in the rain and whatnot, but if i'm over there anytime soon i can try to grab em if they're still there.

I definitely thought about it, but I really don't even have room for the games I already have. They're spread out over 3 locations, so it's probably for the better that I just left them.

I see similar stories like this all the time. Just seems like a strange thing to do with an arcade machine. I'd think most people would at least try ebay or a yard sale to see if they could get some sort of money out of them first :/ .

I'd def go back and strip them of anything non-wood. Most non-wood parts (PCBs, coin doors, etc) can be salvagable even if they've been sitting in the rain (especially if rust and corrosion hasn't set in). That Midway coin door alone is worth going back for (hell...give it to me if you don't want it ;P).

You need coin mechs? I've got some for $5.00 each. They take quarters.

Damn - a halfway nice midway coin door.
That's the fisrt thing I would've grabbed. Those things are getting tough to find. I'm sure the mechs and coin-eject switches were rusted, but that's an easy fix with the ol' Dremel.
I paid $90 for one on ebay about a year ago, and I still had to repaint it..
I'd also be framing that Enduro Racer marquee.
