here is my list.....
pretty big list huh?
Reason why I don't have any games on my list, is because I'm going with a rental only policy. It makes much more sense to rent games rather than buy them, as long as they are priced above $24.99. I can rent a 360 game for only $3.50 per month. Most games are played heavily for about 3 to 5 months, then forgotten about. So why buy them? Just rent them, maybe buy if you see them for $24.99 or $19.99, but actually buying games for $59.99?????
YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY

Yeah, see, that's the problem. I can't really shout from the hilltops where I get that deal, because if I do, then what happens is everybody and their second cousin starts renting there too, and then I got to wait 3 1/2 weeks to finally rent Oblvion. Right now, service is really good, and I'd kinda like to keep it that way. There is a pretty significant catch to the $3.50 per month fee, you have to rent six of them at a time, and........
I might try to share the secret with a few of you, via PM, but you must vow complete silence and not let anybody else know. Gotta keep this on the downlow. I've told a few peeps, but everytime I did, I wondered, "Damn, did I just screw shit up for me? am I going to be stuck renting Blazing Angels, because that's all that happens to be available?"

guarding a cheap rental place?
Wow dude, you are either the cheapest prick in town or just a paranoid freak, but then from every post of yours that I've seen you are very .. unique so I guess I shouldn't be surprised, it's almost like you go out of your way to offend everyone.
Rental only is a fine policy, however, lots of people make decent cash, and spending it does not make them "crazy", although being thrifty is a fine opinion, I myself don't have the time to waste going to a video store and returning them later, far better price for me to pay for the game and enjoy it in my own time, and last time I checked, spending 59.99 on a game won't put you in the poor house, I spend more on coffee in 2 weeks..
But I love coffee.

There are a ton of games down the road I wanna get
-Gears of War (I pre-ordered this game when I bought my 360)
-Prey
-Chromehounds
-N3 (Ninety Nine Nights)
-Saint's Row
-Crackdown
-Halo 3
-Dead Rising
-Lost Planet
-Call of Duty 3
-Forza Motorsports 2 (And the wireless steering wheel)
-GTA4
-BioShock
And every xbla title I've seen announced. I'm iffy about buying Galaga. I've got the actual arcade game... Same with Pac-Man. But they'll be easy achievement points.
Now before E3 - my list of wanted games was half of this. MS looks like they'll get some quality titles out this year.

Well, I know it's pretty paranoid, but this deal is so good, that word would spread really quick. I've seen it happen before. GameFly was pretty good until everybody jumped on the bandwagon, then the waits got longer, and all the most desired games became much harder to get. Same thing would happen with this if I told everybody. If somebody wants to know, I'll let them know via a PM. I've already PM'd two guys here and spilled the beans.
As for being a cheap prick, well, I'm definitely cheap. Not sure about the prick part. I think I would say, "Cheap Ass Bastard". I definitely try to get things as cheap as possible, I've always been like that. It's a blessing and a curse.
I don't go to a rental store, I walk about 35 feet to my mailbox. Because it's via mail, sometimes I have to wait a few days for shipping, but usually the service is very quick, although that may be because I'm close to a distribution center or something.
And everytime you spend $59.99, that shit adds up quick. It's basically $65 with tax, and that's alot of cashola. Very few things depreciate faster than a brand new $65 game. The second you remove that shrink wrap, and try to take it to a GameStop or something, your value plumets $25 right there. Even selling it on Ebay or CL, the value plumets like 30 percent once shrink wrap is removed. And that is when the game is still full priced. When stores start dropping their prices, then your value depreciates further. Now, before the advent of these new kinds of rental plans, sure, I was buying these games along with everybody else, but when you do the math, it's not very logical anymore.
Of course, some will say, "But, I'm a collector, I like to own games, and have my own collection". Well that's fine and dandy, but one could certainly wait until games are marked down to $24.99 or $19.99 before they start collecting them. According to my math, if a game is $24.99 or less, then it becomes a much tougher decision whether to buy outright or rent. At $19.99 it's a pretty easy decision. Buy it instead of renting. But anything over $24.99 doesn't make alot of sense to buy, when you can rent it for $3.50 per month. There are some exceptions, like if you are a Madden junkie, and you are going to play Madden 07 for 365 days until Madden 08 comes out. In that scenario, it might actually make sense to buy a game for full pop. Same thing with a huge game like Oblivion that is going to take forever to finish. Of course, that is assuming that the person is really going to play it all the time, for months, and months and months. Usually that's not the case if we are honest with ourselves. Usually a game is played heavily for the first 90 days or so, sporadically for the next 60 days or so, and then by that time, we have moved onto some other game. But if you really are the diehard type that plays one particular game, every day, for a year, then maybe a rental only policy is a bad idea. But I think if people are really honest about their playing habits, (people like to think they are super hardcore, whether they really aren't), then maybe only 2 percent of gamers should avoid a rental only policy.

Understandable, I myself won't buy a one time game... say like GUN, I rented, beat the crap out of it, was fun, but I'm not about to pay 60 bucks for it.
I have money, but I'm not stupid, and thats why I HAVE money :)
Right now I only have GRAW, PGR3 and Oblivion... I haven't even passed the 2nd level in GRAW, and prg3 is taking a while... Oblivion.. I'll never sell, too much fun!
Games that have yearly releases, I can wait until the "old" goes down, such as FIFA world cup, had good reviews, so I'll buy it... after world cup is over. But games I'm hyped about, and got great word of mouth, I'll buy, such as high production value games like Halo 3.
Others, I'll rent before I buy, thats if I'm interested at all. X-men III was HORRIBLE value, but an OK rental.

I don't have a 360 yet, but I might get one when Broadband comes in.
I'm another rental person. Dead Rising is tempting, but it looks like it won't last long enough to justify a purchase. I'd consider PSU, but there aren't enough other games on the 360 to get me to pay $600 for the system + Live yet.
Otherwise,
Lumines LIve
Geometry Wars
