AWESOME! My girlfriend paid for half of our 360. It's quickly become one of my favorite consoles ever. The achievement points are genius in my opinion. I rarely let a game sit on the shelf long because I'm always trying to get a few more bragging points....and don't get me started on the arcade. Being able to play the likes of joust co-op with someone across country, or be able to kick back beers while shooting a game of billiards with a dude from Autrailia!!

IT'S A BLAST!!!!

That's amazing, especially considering it's a mother-in-law.

Great story :)

I think you'll really grow to love your new 360. I'd really recommend Project Gotham Racing 3 (I think it looks incredible) and Table Tennis (just too damn addictive). Obviously, get on Live and pick up Geo Wars... and you may find a couple of other arcade titles of interest, as well. Live is just so much better than I ever thought possible!

What games do you think you'll be getting?

Now, you don't hear stories about Mothers-in-laws like that very often!

And as stated above, the Xbox Live Arcade is so good. Those games are worth the price, for sure.

You have a great mother-in-law. My mother-in-law hates me becuase I play and collect video games and she does not want her grandchildren to do the same thing. Congrats on the system...I am addicated to Table Tennis.

Definitly reccoemnd to you call of duty 2, oblivion, ghost recon, and ridge racer 6 (well i love it, others dont). There are plenty of other great 360 games, but those are the cream of the crop. Also the first arcadegame you must buy is geometry wars evolved, you will thank us later.

just don't buy UNO thinking you can play multiplayer local on one system, because you can't.
