Are the Silent Hill games easily found in the area that you live?

In my area ive only seen Silent Hill 4 for PS2 and Xbox -mostly Xbox- within the last 3 months new or used.

All of the others even the GH version of Silent Hill 1 I havent seen for well over 6 months and it seems that SH 3 and SH1 are the most difficult to find in my area.

Well, I don't know what it's like in Purgatory, but around here all but Silent Hill are common, and it's usually a tad difficult to find certain games. I believe Circuit City still has the Xbox version of Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams new, although it's the GH version.

My local FYE had some (copies of SH3 I think) that went unsold a while back. Dunno if they're still there.

SH2 Restless Dreams (PS2) and SH3 aren't very common down here, I've seen SH4 around since the movie came out and SH1 was slightly common when GS and EB still sold PS1 games.

I can't find Silent Hill 3 at all now.

I can't find my old copy either.

Me = screwed? Yeah.

I went to Gamestop for the B2G1 on the first day they had it, bought some stuff and saw a SH3 for $25 used... made the rounds to the other shops and couldn't make it back that day. Went back the next day and it was already gone.

It's the only one I'm looking for now, as I do want Restless Dreams but I can't justify buying it since I already own the PS2 version. I still want to get my hands on a non-GH copy of the first one but they pop up here and there, not too worried about it.

Silent Hill 3 I rarely see anymore, Silent Hill 2, common, but the GH version is harder to get a hold of.

Yet I have been able to find lone CD's of Silent Hill 1 from time to time, but the disc are so damaged

Silent Hill 4, average around here.

It's impossible not to find The Room around here. New and used copies for both platforms are everywhere. The rest of the series on the other hand has been pretty scarce lately. Used to see copies of 1 and 2 (originals and GH) all the time, with 3 being a little less common, but now rarely see any of them. If there's a Silent Hill available, 9 times out of 10 it's The Room.

Before the Silent Hill movie came out, I would regularly find SH1 in Gamestop and Bookmans (local chain). Everyone has been snapping them up lately to feed to eBay. I had one copy left which I too sold when the price went through the roof.

Just give it time, and eventually it will return to being a $10-15 dollar game. As for the other titles, I still see them all the time. Overpriced, perhaps, but they aren't too hard to find in this neck of the woods.

Here in San Diego, since the movie came out... all you see are Silent Hill 4s.

No more copies of the older ones. :(

All i can find here is the Xbox version of Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams. Can't seem to find any survival horror games aside from that and Resident Evil 4 around here now that i think of it.

I had a customer at work ask me if we had any of the Silent Hill games, it seems that the movie really helped people remember/get into to the series, which is a great thing. I told her that they plan to release a set with 2 3 and 4 in it, but I'm not sure when it's going to be released, I'm guessing the set will be released when the DVD for the movies is released.

The Fatal Frame games are hard to come by as well, I found FF1 by pure luck at a local CD trader and luckily it was cheap. FF2 is here and there, but usually expensive no matter what condition it is and FF3 shouldn't be that scarce since it wasn't released that long ago.

I see 2, 3 & 4 ALL the time around here. Especially at places like game crazy. The original I NEVER see anymore. If I did, I'd buy it and sell resell it. I've played the original a few times recently actually. Got the good + and UFO ending so far. Just gotta do a bad ending now.

I saw a brand new non-GH copy of 2 for PS2 a few months ago (probably still there). I see 4 once in a while, and 1 and 3 I don't remember seeing anytime recently, although I haven't been looking for them.

I saw part 4 for sale at COMP USA still sealed for $10 a piece, but other than that, I've yet to find any silent hills. I've actually been looking for them a little bit too. i've seen one part 3 in the past 6 months and thats it. Definately not around here

In my local area their super hard to find as my younger bro is looking for part 3, can't find it anywhere.

I own them all so it's all good for me...

I was lucky that I bought up all the game before that digrace of a movie came out. It caused a bunch of idiots to go buy all the games up.

Silent Hill 2 & 4 are dirt common around here, both for the PS2 and XBox. I don't see SH3 very often, but it's not particularly rare. The original, though, I never see, and ended up breaking down and getting it off a trader here. My EB's and Gamestops never carried many PS1 games, though.

I see SH3 around here all the time, and SH4 from time to time, especially on XBOX. I rarely ever see the first 2, and when I do they are way too overpriced.

I just have loose Silent Hill & Silent Hill 2 (PSone/PS2 respectively) and got them a few months back for $1 each and been trying to buy their cases/manuals but with no luck so far. I can usually find them sitting on the shelves of game stores but they cost more than it would to just find the cases. Since they sometimes go a few months unseen I'd say it's a harder to find common game around here.

Around here you can find SH4 for real cheap everywhere. SH1 and 2, however, are pretty hard to come by. The only place I've seen SH1 in the last 3 years has been a local independent game store where it's WAY overpriced.
