i've been trying to grab one off ebay for a couple auctions now and i keep coming in second place... hopefully i'll get one soon enough...

Nice, I wouldn't mind one of those. I do have 2 DS systems in the house, therefore I am justified to buy one. LOL.

their Nintendo reps. Yea like that is going to happen. ;)

it's going for a lot right now, but i think that's because this isn't a real kiosk demo. being the download thing makes it a bit special, so people are willing to pay a bit more for it.
but honestly... a lot of stores haven't switched to version 2 yet, and this is really just a specialized kiosk demo. in the long run, i don't think it'll be that different from any other kiosk demo, once the novelty of download stations wears off a bit. so long term price... $50-$100 probably? that's the range for most DS kiosk demos with a few exceptions.

How many people does it permit to download from at once? Does anybody know? Is the limit 10 like some multi-player games?

i have it at home, i can look later. i *think* it's 16 people at once. of course, that's just 16 that can download at the SAME time... once people have the game and aren't connected to the card anymore, then it opens up that slot for someone else to download. and i'm pretty sure there's also an option to change how many people can connect at once, if you want to cap it at, say, 8 people.
