I heard a rumor that Sega scientists at Los Alamos have figured out a way to fit an entire DC1080 -- in ONE room!!! OMG I can't wait!

I have retrofitted mine to run entirely on peat moss.

ROFL

<JOKE>
...If that really is the DC1080, then I'm not buying it, because I would have to sell my copy of "Diddy Kong's Land Before Time Super Hyper Ultra Mega Shala Llama Ding Ding Team Racing Adventure: Double Dash DS!" for my Super Nintendo Wii-cube 64 to make room!

I like the LOST numbers.

Every 108 minutes of play time, the screen will go black, and you must enter the following number sequence: 4,8,15,16,23,42. This will reset the clock. It is not know what will happen if you do not properly enter the sequence.

Right...from the only episode I ever saw (and I only saw that 10 minutes or so of it). You beat me to it!!

on ign.com they have a tiny little section on speculation of a new dreamcast comming out.

http://dreamcast.ign.com/articles/711/711721p1.html

its kinda cool and its wishful thinking for sega fans. I bet they would sell plenty of "dreamcast 2s" if they were to release some sequals to there rarer titles that are sought after. Think of a new dreamcast being released with titles like panzer dragoon saga 2, a new sonic, new dragon force and shining force, toejam and earl, maybe even a rez sequal. That right there would get people buying these systems no doubt. Not to mention if they got some capcom fighting games and whatever else 3rd party publishers are willing to make. It'd be a major risk for them to do this given thier past history with the 32x and saturn. I don't see sega trying to compete against the big 3 this generation. The race for the next-gen winners has basically already begun. Any late entrys i think would end up just getting blown out of the water. But if sega were to start the plans of a next-next-generation in a year or two from now and be the first to release the "new thing" with all the games i mentioned as launch titles, set it at an affordable price, I'm sure people would snatch those up no problem.

From the front page:

The US Homeland Security Department raised the "National Gay Marriage" threat level from "fruity" to "flamboyant" today, in response to increased "gay chatter" intercepted by Intelligence agencies. Secretary Chertoff urged citizens to "be vigilant, and on the lookout for queers", but to keep their daily routines as normal as possible in order to keep the economy strong.

Interesting stuff. It takes some creativity to make some really messed up articles that make people laugh with joy. :D

As for the Dreamcast2 response, it would be really interesting if Sega came back into the market and make the next-next-generation of games, making there a big 4 market, then creativity really does matter instead of flooding the market with horrible titles. Sega vs. Nintendo vs. Sony vs. Microsoft vs. ???, starting to sound like the consule wars of the 70's & 80's or something.

Please forget about ever seeing Dreamcast 2, it will never happen. Sega does not have the financial advantage and the market cannot accommodate 4 console players, as it can barely have 3 companies on equal footing. However, I must admit that many of the sequels Sega fans want will probably only be possible on a Sega console. As a software publisher, I feel Sega has to be more selective in terms of the games that will sell in today's market.
