That's an easy one for me, Double Dragon II, my favorite nintendo game of all-time.

I don't think there is a game I replayed on any system over and over as much as DD II.

If you can ONLY have 1 nes item what good is SMB3?

You can't play it you don't have a system.

So you are sitting there with a SMB3 cart next to a guy with a mint gold NWC....... boy did someone waste a wish or what.

Hell shoot for the moon.

I'd say if I could have 1 item that I'd go for one of the prototype NES decks from the development department.

I don't really understand your question.
Are you asking: "What is the one NES item that you would want on top of what you have right now?"
Or, are you asking: "If you could only have one game/item, what would it be?"

If you're asking the first question, then my answer is simple: The Myriad 6-in-1 (the last game I need)

Definetely a Sharp Twin Famicom (Red or Black) with a new belt in the disk drive. Best NES/Famicom gaming solution, hands down.

It would play my Akumajo Densetsu with the VRC6 chip flawlessly, and my Akumajo Dracula and Dracula 2: Noroi no Fuuin FDS titles perfectly in its disk drive.

Assumably it would play NES titles too, so I could play Castlevania 1-3 with a 72-60 pin adapter.

Much better value than the Generation NEX considering all that.

Definitely an NWC cart. Gold or grey, it doesn't matter. :D

Of course, since I own everything I desire (minus a number of translated repros, like Sweet Home, FF II & III, Just Breed, etc.) that's in the affordable range, I have caviar tastes. :D

Arasol is right about the Twin Famicom-it is the best solution for FC gaming. Not only do you get the microphone on controller 2 (perfect for killing Pols Voices with a mighty "Fuck you!"), but the interference that plagues the Disk System when used with a Famicom AV isn't present, either. And, best of all, the black w/green trim unit has turbo controllers! :D

A 100% mint gold plated NES system that doesn't have any issues at all.

...
I'm not too much of an NES god so it doesn't take much to please me with that system. I'd go with a new mint box sealed of Final Fantasy I or II. Or one of Adventure Island.

Like I said, I'd be easliy pleased. :D most of my games are in great condition but all loose. Complete is like WoWzors to me.

If I could have anything for the NES, it would have to be a NWC 1990 grey or gold... but I wouldn't mind a caltron 6 in 1 or a Myriad 6 in 1 either.

If we are going to name things than never existed then I will change my vote.

I want the Back to the Future time-traveling flying car with built in NES that uses garbage for fuel.

Dude I have 2 old Zapper (nes) guns laying around one is a good condition red one and the other looks like its a faded ummm green or something @_@ although I doubt that one works but it looks solid other than its faded color.

Garbage for fuel? Like the Double Dragon car? Make sure you keep a can of hairspray for nitro!
I'll take the Hands Free device. There was a buy it now auction for 4 in boxes from Japan recently, and I didn't have the money for them. Now I do, and there aren't any.

Item that never exisited: A Sony PSP system that played NES cartridge games (no emulator crap)

Item if I could only have one item: My original NES... but I do have that :p

Item if I could pick any item: That rock n' roller controller you stand on. I can't find one ANYWHERE

I'd like a NES system that I'd never have to blow in or clean. That'd be nice.

As far as games go, I'll take Super Mario Bros 3 or Mega Man 2. Legend of Zelda is pretty sweet too.

Either Nintendo World Championships gold or grey cart is fine by me. If I couldn't have that, I would have to say the prototype lotto NES accessery that would have enabled you to choose your lotto numbers from home.

If it's only a game to play, it's going to be "Baseball Stars," hands-down.

"The Legend of Zelda" is a close second.

As much as most NES collector's would say a gold NWC or even a grey one, I will have to say no to those. I really want a Zelda 1 proto that differs from the original release.

For non existent, a Myriad proto :P

For a game to play I would say Bionic Commando

For something just to collect- Stadium Events- I got no luck in finding one.
