Model 2 Genesis S-Video Mod

Have any of you fine folks got this to work? Mine doesn't seem to be working.

Three things:

1) This should probably be in the Technical & Restoration forum.
2) What guide did you follows for your mod?
3) What symptoms are the console exhibiting?

I have the same chip in my Model 2 genesis but it just doesn't work. I made the resistor/capacitor combo just like it said, soldered it to the correct pins. Soldered everything to the s-video connector including the gounds and the screen is totally black.. : (

Did you get the pins switched around somewhere?
