so recently i acquired a modded psx and as a collector of games (mostly rpg's) i set out looking for a few imports i would like. unfortunitly i'm haveing some trouble. now i don't know anyone in japan that could simply pick it up and mail it to me so what would be my best route?
for any domestic game (USA) i usually use ebay and i can find at least one copy pretty much every time. i considered useing the japanese version of ebay but i can't read japanese so i gave up on that. most import gameing sites only sell current gen games and if there is any older games there usually "out of stock/out of print". the buy/sell forums are nice but thats hit or miss sometimes. just wondering whats the best way if there is a better one.

Usually lots of Japanese PS1 games at PlayAsia and LikSang for starters.

yhea i checked those places. thats where i saw alot of "out of stock/out of print" things
I have a hard enough time finding english psx games now that EB/gamestop doesn't sell them so much anymore so i primarily use ebay or the buy/sell forum here. just wondering if there was some source ppl were getting imports from that i possibly was not privy to.

Quite a few very rare Japanese import items on this site. A lot of X68000 games, SNES, Genesis, etc. They ship internationally too.

Man, the PSX is an "older system"? When I saw the thread title, I thought it would be about SG1000 or Cassettevision games or something LOL

techniclly, yhea the psx is an "older" system now. acually though i would like to know if there was a good place to get really old import stuff for other really old systems even if just for future refrence. but the only system i have capable of playing imports right now is a psx.
thanks for the links though guys, even though i didn't find exactlly what i was looking for those sites will come in handy later.

Funny thing about this website, some ass on the neo-geo forums was trying to sell this link to people a few days ago.

Although Im pretty sure the poster meant Japanese import games, Ill extend it out here and ask this:
Does anyone know some good Euro game shops with older stuff? Especially MSX/MSX2 titles?

This is about the ONLY time of year that Ebay actually has things being sold for what they're actually worth.
Forget about the more obscure Japanese items on Ebay. Get a middleman service, and get on Yahoo Japan. Sure, there are fees. But you're better off.

Ebay is always there, but I've found UGTZ and forums like this one to be better. I only have NTSC-J games, and update my for sale list every few months (although I'm running a bit low these days). My list is in the FS forums of my site, if you're interested (follow the sig).
