Hey everyone,

I was hoping some of you experts could help me in locating a video game from my youth. I remember seeing a video monitor displaying a game that featured a cartoonish, smiling Don King like character, I would therefore assume it was a boxing game. That's the only image I can recall from the game.

It was displayed in my local Toys R Us circa 1986-1988. I can't recall the platform, though I suspect it could have been Atari ST or Amiga but I'm not certain, doubt it was a console game however. Not very much to go on, I know... but I would appreciate any help.

I'm guessing Mike Tyson's Boxing?

I was thinking Tyson Punch-out for NES also. Mac the trainer comes to mind, but I can't remember if he looked like Don King.

the trainer in punch out didn't resemble don king. I have no idea any kind of game that isn't a mike tyson game that had a character that looked like that. The only one i could think of was maybe a character from maniac mansion or something like that. But if it was a display he saw at toys r us, it must have been a semi-major release for its time. I don't have a clue other than that

Thanks for the replies, it definitely wasn't Punch Out or on the NES. Keep thinking it was on one of the home computer systems of the mid 80s...I've looked at a few Atari ST boxing games with no luck. Anyway, thanks again.
