I am talking about the add on that was given out when you bought the game at like best buy. What is the difference between this and the one that came out in japan? Is it just a sticker? It was the birthday pack right?

This one right? (http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-Sonic-Adventure-2-Birthday-Pack-Limited-Edition_W0QQitemZ104752484528QQihZ020QQcategoryZ43 05QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

The coin, soundtrack and booklet is all that came with it right? Everything that was japanese remained japanese when it was brought to the states?

Any info would be great :)

Thanks
Darren

The Japanese version came with the coin, CD and booklet as well as the game.

The Japanese version came with the coin, CD and booklet as well as the game.

And that spiffy outer box, which looks sorta sexy.

Actually really sexy.

I've got two copies of it, one opened and one sealed. The booklet has both Japanese and English writing in it so I imagine the content is probably exactly the same in both countries of release.

The US never got anything like that boxset, right?

I have the SA2 Birthday pack, but in the US, we just got the game, normal jewel case, no box, etc..., like usual, right?

we did it was given out at best buys when you bought the game.

If I am correct the only way to distinguish the jp one and the us one is a gold sticker that most took off. Might of just been on the plastic, im not sure.

I have the coin and cd package,, I bought it of this guy that said he got it when he preordered Sonic 2. I never asked if he preorder from Sega(most likely) or from a store.
