It has been a long time for Sonic.
Fifteen years of Sonic's video gaming/cartoonin'/comic bookin'/etc career will have gone by when tomorrow rolls around.
Fifteen years, that's older than alot of people playing games nowadays.
So now we approach the eve of Sonic's birthday, and on this fourth day we have accomplished a good amount. I've taken a look back at Sonic's video game career and explained to everyone here why I enjoy his games. I also very much appreciated everyone that helped contribute to these threads by hating on Sonic, or throwing some love at the blue guy.
Fifteen years. Now what do we have to look foward to?
Sonic Next Gen.

Sonic Rivals.

Plenty
Every single new Sonic game appears to have a lot of potential, and from many E3 accounts, all of them had lines of gamers waiting to play them.
Sonic Wild Fire looks to return us to Sonic's roots, unlike what we were originally told about Sonic Next Gen. Sonic Wild Fire truely appears to be a Sonic game that will feel like Sonic from years past. I'm so cool with that.
And don't get me wrong about Sonic Next Gen with that last paragraph, its easily my most anticipated next gen title this year. Yes, the scenes we have seen with Shadow in an SUV are absolutely terrible, but everything else about this game looks fantastic. From the actual graphical quality of the game, to the music, and even to the gameplay. For a 3-D Sonic game, it looks great, and I'm so pleased to hear that the Adventure sections of Sonic Adventure will return. That makes me quite glad.
And the 'Mach Speed' zones just sound fuckin' awesome.
And then there's Sonic Rivals. Yeah, I'm sorta pissed that Sega decided to put this title on the PSP, but I can't complain, the game looks like an old Sonic game with some spruced up 3-D graphics. Count me the hell in please.
I gotta buy another PSP though. Lame.
Anyways, there's not too much to say about the immediate future of our blue friend. He's got some games coming out this year/next year that look just fantastic, so let's hope for the best guyz.
Your turn.
