it's not the same as it was in 2001, 2002 IMHO... but it's still a nice site to trade and sell/buy

It´s the official argentinan collector´s community, and also the most great site in Latinamerica dedicated to retrogaming. The buy/sell/trade forum (compra, venta y canje) is great!, and maybe you could find strange video game stuff from Southamerica...

I've bought and sold stuff at the AtariAge forums before. Lots of good Atari stuff there. Other stuff as well.

I've also bought and sold stuff at AnandTech. It's not really a video game forum, but I've bought a handful of videogame stuff there. You can often get some good deals because not everyone knows the value of what they are selling.
Craigslist can also be a good place to buy and sell videogames.

CheapAssGamer is excellent - they have a great feedback system and a top notch moderation team. RFGeneration is great as well.

My biggest problem with cheapassgamer is that no on there is really a collector, so everything i wind up buying is in collectors condition. Everytime they say its mint and its not at all.

I had to split the "good stuff" from the flame war in the original thread, unfortunately muffinman's original post got lost in the shuffle.
Not trying to tread on DP by any degree.. I love DP, and I love the buy/sell/trade forum on here, but I just want to list up some good resources to make it easier for some other guys to find some games Cool Anyway, heres some I found
Please add to these, and give me your experiecnce, thanks!
http://segaxtreme.com- Mostly sega stuff, not too populated, but I scored some wonderful things there.
http://neo-geo.com- Same thing here, primarily neo geo stuff, but theres a ton of other things to be had as well. Tons of rare stuff
http://dreamcasthistory.com- Many overseas traders, but the stuff they have up for grabs on here is very nice, and usually rare
http://assemblergames.com- Many many many prototypes.. Not too much "regular" stuff, but such a great selection of stuff that is IMPOSSIBLE to find in the wild
http://dreamcastpawnshop.com- Great for more common U.S. Dreamcast stuff

I've basically checked out all these forums and here is what i think:
Cheapassgamer- that place isnt to bad. I wish theyd have new stuff and people woudlnt bump the hell out of there threads all the time. Good feedback system.
Tradegamesnow- Uhmm no experience yet, the place is awesome though. Add your collection.. people search it.. you see who wants that game and etc. I just havent got in any indepth trades.
Gametz- Uhmm this place took down my account for inactivity on the first day? I made a new account and it hasn't happend since but that was WEIRD. Didn't reply to my emails, bad support. Just had to make a new account. Tried to make some offers. They usually want an outragous price. No trades yet made from this place.
Avforums- Well this place banned me because my username and the ebay account with the same username as me had 1 negative feedback. I explained to them that the ebay account isnt mine and they didnt care. Very strict policy and i could have easily got around with a new username :-/. Just make sure if you signup, lookup your username in google and make sure you see nothing bad. They think they know everything so i just passed on this forum.
Ign forums- uhmmm not much happening here, well for me anyways. Some people probably find lots of good stuff here.
Digitpress- Yay this place is AWESOME!

Tradegamesnow I wouldnt really reccomend to anybody from my experience, besides it being mostly for current gen stuff (nothing wong with that, just letting you guys know) the offers I get are laughable.. Radiant silvergun for 10 dollars shipped, psp system for 50 dollars, that sort of stuff.. Once in a while I will get an offer for a trade where somebody has a decent tradelist.. I rarely found any good deals/trades on there. The administrators are a freaking joke as well, seriously, you will be suspended if you say "boob" or tell somebody to shut up.. I have also been ripped off on there sooo many times, I dont know if it is my luck or what, but I have been shafted (never sent their item) around 4 or 5 times from users with high feedback (20+), meh I got banned and am using somebody elses account now with reealy high feedback if I ever want to make a trade on there, though I rarely ever use the account anyway.
