(and wow did that topic not sound right after typing it...)

Okay, here's the situation:

I wanna do something more with game-rave's PlayStation Perfect Guide that doesn't involve just more facts and trivia for the game pages.

I need more graphic design usage, so I can get practice for my portfolio. Would you guys be interested in any of the following:

a. Downloadable desktop wallpapers
b. Viewable video downloads of gameplay
c. Memory Card Size images for download
d. Video features (voice overs of me discussing things)
e. Regular Gamer Interviews
f. other?
g. a purchasable calendar with a neat gimmick

Let me know, I'd like to freshen up the site. :)

Thanks!
Jason

Depending on the gimmick, buying a calender might be interesting. What did you have in mind?

Long story short:
This is the calendar project I did for PAWS:

Zoom up of the blank, unused calendar. After each day is done, you would color in the day with the color labelled that day:

And when you're done coloring all days after a full year, and then arrange the month sheets, you get:

The PSX assembled image would most likely be a giant sprite of focused screen capture of a game character.

If this takes off, I'll probably make versions for all the systems.

a. If they're done well, although all I use wallpapers for is to snatch artwork from. Couldn't you have a selection of character designs, offical artwork, and ads for whatever games you can find them for?

b. I was going to say I'd never watch a gameplay download, but actually I can see where this would help. Some games I'm still confused about their genre and a video might save me the bother of having to buy the game just to find out whether I need to own it.

c. So like Memory Card stickers? That's a different idea.

d. If video features were done well then this would be fun to watch.

e. Depends on the gamer being interviewed. I'd rather read more industry interviews though.

f. See a.

g. That calendar is adorable, I wouldn't download it though. I just don't use calendars.
